The staff and everyone were kind initially, I came in asking for a shag haircut, I showed two stylists 2 different pictures but similar I tried to tell them what I liked soeficially and try to see what we could do with my length but instead they told me to just sit down, etc there was a weird vibe the whole time very quite, I tried making small talk but she seemed not to understand my asking "how is your day going" so I stopped, I had asked multiple times if she had experience with curly hair and if she could do the cut I requested. They spoke Spanish in front of me as if they assumed I didnt understand what they were saying, im not saying they cant speak in whatever language they want but dont assume others cant understand whats being said just because they are more comfortable in English. I dont speak fluently but I understood enough that she was asking her how to do the haircut, I tried to give her benefit of the doubt seeing as its hard times right now I want to support my neighborhood but she was very rough with the comb parting my hair, and im not tenderheaded at all, she literally gave me the opposite of what I wanted, cut off over half the length I had and when I stopped her she claimed I asked for "short choppy layers" I showed them the picture again and said this is not what I asked for and they tried to blame me for the mistake. Im devastated to say the least id been growing my hair for over a year and wanted to treat myself to a real trim from a real salon but she ruined that and I will literally never go to a salon again because of this experience. After I stopped the cut and was trying to figure out if I could live with this or not everyone behind me started shouting random things "put some gel or leave in conditioner in it" but the one that hurt the most was other staff telling me "its just hair it will grow back" that is not the point whatsoever. Extremely unprofessional and I hate leaving reviews like this but I will literally warn everyone to never go to this salon ever. They were nice enough to not make me pay but I still tipped 10 dollars because I did take up her time, and im not a cruel person. I just wish they said sorry or offered any kind of remorse when they clearly were in the wrong in the situation. Never ever go here. She basically gave me a pixie cut blamed me for it and got upset when I was internally trying to not freak out about it. Its more than just hair.

My experience with Laura was amazing. I went in to get a trim and I loved my results. She took her time asking questions and I really appreciated that. I have natural curly hair and I felt comfortable once she got started. Thank you Laura for your services. I will be going back soon.

To say the lease her artistry is truly outstanding Vanessa Vanessa Vanessa , your truly a gem. The salon is surely blessed with your presence a beautiful woman inside and out , professionalism chefs kiss. Very mindful and the comfort of her client comes first. She asks questions throughout the process to make sure she executes the look you desire. Talented is an understatement you can tell she loves what she does it’s definitely comes as second nature to her. My makeup was flawless and lasted all day i received so many compliments and she gives you a care kit at the end 😍. I love love love her thank you Eric and Vanessa you both are amazing book with . She’ll have you feeling like a melanin Goddess all day.

Laura has done my hair for the past three years. The first time I went in my hair was red .I wanted it ash blonde she did a great job took all the red out. The ash blonde on my hair was beautiful just the way I wanted it. Her first priority is always her customers satisfaction.

Horrible haircut and color. I feel sick to my stomach. Laura didn't even come close to what I wanted. The picture on the left shows the cut and color I wanted. The middle picture shows what I got. The third pic is my hair before. It took four hours for my hair to basically look the same color as when I started.
