Jason is my go to. He is wonderful and absolutely amazing with haircuts and hair color! Not once have I been let down, I show him a picture and he does beyond more amazing than I had in mind! He makes my hair look perfect like off a model in a magazine. After coming here to the park avenue salon there has been no other salon to top this place.

I can finally say that I've found a stylist that I can trust. Tara is not only highly skilled in what she does, but she actually listens to the client, and never, ever have I walked away with any "surprises". She is also a genuinely sweet person who makes you feel welcome and unhurried. Thank you, Tara, for your consistent professionalism and integrity.

Lisa Kalnas is the best ! If you are lucky enough to get an appointment with her, you will always leave relaxed with the softest hands and feet in the world! Plus she is an amazing person as well. The salon staff is very friendly and the place is just a joy to visit. I always look forward to my time there.

I went to go see Jason a little over a week ago. After reading through reviews I felt I would be in good hands going to Jason. First of all, I would like to say that Jason was very pleasant & polite. I showed him a picture of what I wanted. I also voiced my concerns to him about how important it was for me to keep my hair in good shape. I have very thin hair so I feel like it always needs extra care. He acknowledged my concerns & put me at ease. He gave me a full head of highlights which worried me from the start because the picture I showed him was more of a balayage but I thought to myself he's the professional not you. When he was done my initial reaction was that it didn't look anything like the picture I showed him. It was so much lighter than what I wanted & showed him. He had a client waiting & I thought maybe it's just the lighting in here & when you go home you'll feel differently about it. Once home I wanted to cry when I saw parts of my hair looked white, which I understand platinum is popular but it was not at all what I wanted. The more I saw my hair the more I wanted to cry. The highlights are an awful yellow color mixed with some white highlights. But my biggest concern was now all the breakage I was seeing. My hair smelled & still smells like it is literally burnt! I was afraid to even wash my hair for the first few days because I was afraid of how much more would fall off. After washing my hair 3x it still smells like burnt hair. I've been dying & highlighting my hair for many years. This is the first time anything like this has ever happened to me. It has left me horrified to say the least! My hair is now a horrible dry straw like texture that is breaking off. I could have dealt with the bad highlights but the irreversible damage that was done to my hair I can not. It has brought my self esteem level down. I don't know what went wrong but I feel he saw the damage he had done & just let me walk out that way. That is not okay. Now I'm left hoping I can save my hair somehow & deeply saddened.

The salon has a small uninviting waiting area and if there's more than 4 or 5 people you will be standing awkwardly in the doorway. Jason is the worst hairstylist I've ever been to in 40 years. Only person I have ever had decide on his own to quickly cut all my hair off. If that's what you want he's your barber which is an insult to all good barbers. He's a hatchet man with no skills.

Pam and her staff are awesome. They a continuously taking new classes and clinics to stay up with trends as well as techniques. CLEAN, and feels like a luxurious spa.

DO THEY CARE THAT YOU WAIT and NO ONE EVEN CHECKS to see if YOUR Hairdresser is there or on the way? NO DO THEY CARE IF THE HAIRDRESSER IS GOING TO SHOW UP? NO DONT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY, NOT RECOMMENDED..lost a customer and almost an hour of my time. Just flat out unpro!
