I almost never leave Google reviews, but Sema Hair, and its incredible owner, Grace deserve every bit of praise. My 3C curls have always been a challenge, so I finally decided to try Japanese straightening. Grace took her time, explained each step, and treated my hair with such care that the entire experience felt like a luxury treatment. The results? Life-changing. I’ve never felt this confident about my hair. It’s sleek, healthy-looking, and unbelievably easy to manage. On top of that, the price was more than fair, especially given the level of skill and attention Grace brings to her work. Grace, the owner knows how to cut, style & all else. She did a FANTASTIC job with layering my long hair. She cut off my hair about 1inch , added layers and blow dried. She is friendly and very professional . If you are looking for a hair salon that is good at long hair cut with layers , Highly recommend!

As an Afro- Latina, I came here to try the Japanese Perm. First let's say the staff here are so welcoming and warm. From a woman of thick kinky hair, I left with PIN straight hair. It IS a long process so be prepared to have patience. Don't rush perfection! They offer you coffee/tea and constantly ask if you're okay. I have been to this place 3xs and all 3 times after I make my appointment they get the lady that washes hair to flat iron my hair. Today they took it the extra mile by allowing her to do 97% of my hair while the guy that was supposed to to do my hair go attend other people. Won’t be going back.

I got Japanese hair straightening treatment today at Sema Hair Salon. The service I got and the end result was amazing. The hairstylist(Jean) was very professional and caring throughout the process. It took 3 hours for the whole treatment. I definitely recommend this place. I am going again in a year!!!!!!
