My son wanted to get braids for the first time. I didn’t know anyone in the area that did them so I tried this store based on reviews. He and I were both very happy with the experience. She did exactly what was in the photo he brought with him. It only took 1.5 hours to do his whole head and his hair was down to his shoulder blades. He has had so many compliments and several people have asked where he got them. Plus it’s located in old downtown OP which was convenient and there was plenty of parking right in front of the store.

Very chill, really good with my hair! I liked them a lot will be going back! At first I was skeptical because the person I usually went to was not good at working with my hair Type, I am mixed, and then the last time I was with my old stylist, she messed up my hair so bad I had to chop it all off right before an birthday trip to a different state. Then the next person I tried did my hair so bad that the fully braided bundles that were supposed to be braided into my hair fell out. So I was worried this shop wouldn’t be able to work with my hair, also to add I have really bad Psoriasis and I didn’t want to gross people out. I am not sure who it was that did my hair, but she was so good. Usually my scalp hurts with other braiders and the lines don’t look as good, but the lady who did it was so gentle and even got out some more stubborn parts of my psoriasis and didn’t seem disgusted at all. On top of it all it didn’t take too long (to get box braids with other braiders it usually took 8-12 hours) but with her it only took 4-5 hours. And these braids are far smaller than what I usually get. And it was a great price! Spent 248 after taxes. And was able to afford a tip. Which was surprising because dusky people charge 350 for bad service. I was recommended to this place by my boss. And I think I’m going to have them as my Permanent stylist. Thank You so Much!

Will not be returning and wouldn't recommend. Hair came out half decent after having to return to get fixed, then it started falling apart 2 days later. The whole experience was weird. Customer service specifically from who braided my hair wasn't great. They kept looking at me like I was crazy anytime I had a question and I didn't feel welcomed or at all comfortable. Should've left within the first 5 mins of being there cause it didn't seem like it was gonna be a good experience and I was right. Wasted my time and money, basically just paid for parting because I had to fix it myself several times. I've only had it in a week and it already looks old. Tried to message for at least a partial refund, no response. If you care about customer service and quality styling I wouldn't go here and I rarely leave reviews.

Ms. Ayanna Howard did a great job. Got started at 8:30am & was done by 11am. Very nice, friendly ladies. I will be going back for a Re-Twist in a month or so.

Best spot I ever been too .. was so clean and smelled nice. On a Saturday it wasn’t packed and even was a chill vibe with nice people. I definitely be back. Pretty expensive but it’s worth the payment. I got boho knotless and it didn’t take long with one person and my head felt light while she was braiding and after. So much more to brag about ! Good job ladies.

First time getting dreads. And my hair is extremely fine. They made me comfortable and answered all of my many questions! Will be going here for all my hair needs from now on.
