Danielle was amazing! Not only did she make the experience enjoyable, but she also got me to a beautiful blonde that finally feels like me again. My previous salonist had taken some very questionable creative liberties with my color, but Danielle fixed everything (the streaks, lines, and discolorations) and brought my hair back to life. She’s incredibly talented, detail-oriented, and genuinely cares about getting it right. I can’t stop looking at my hair. I highly recommend her to anyone who wants a blonde specialist who truly knows her craft. She’s a total hair wizard. Pictures: The first two do NOT do the disaster justice. Kat is absolutely amazing every time she does something to my hair it feels like magic!! 🥹🥹 She’s also extremely explanatory with what she does and is focused on what you’re aiming to enhance with your hair (such as moisturizing, frizziness). She will leave you looking like a completely different person when you walk out, I absolutely love her one of the most down to earth stylists I’ve ever had 🤗

I was able to schedule a haircut/style for my mom and i got a blowout for myself prior to heading on a trip to Las Vegas for the weekend. We both looked amazing and our hair kept it's style (even the curl!) the whole time and even when we got home my hair was still looking fabulous! KC is the best- I have been going to her now for several years and she does an amazing job with both my and my mom's hair. She is very kind and takes time to really listen to what our needs are for our hair journeys... I would highly recommend going to her as well as the salon itself - i have been going there since 2015 and it's team never disappoints!

I recently moved to Orlando so finding a new hairdresser seemed stressful, but Kat and everyone at the salon made me feel so welcome. Offering me refreshments the moment I walked in and making the whole experience comfortable. Kat was super informative and always made sure I was ok and she definitely helped me achieve the goal I wanted in my hair which was more volume! Will absolutely be coming back 🙂

Ailish gave an amazing men’s curly haircut. If you have long curly hair go see her for a great transformation. I’ve been to J. Bauman on Mills twice now and it’s always super clean, smells good, and they had a place where I could fill my water and a get a snack while I waited. My hair grew out so nicely after the first time I saw Ailish and she did an amazing job this time as well. My hair is longish to medium length with curls and I paid $70. Well worth it the experience i’ve had at this salon has been great.

Dani is a GENUIS when it comes to hair color and hair knowledge! She is truly a master at her craft and an absolute joy to be around! She will make sure to tell me everything I need to know for at home care and salon maintenance. I leave the salon with my hair feeling more healthy than when I came in and she gives me better results than my expectations, I can’t recommend her enough.

I’ve been a client at J. Bauman for some time and see Anna for my haircuts. I always schedule well in advance, yet the morning of my appointment I'm almost always contacted by the salon requesting flexibility with the start time. When I arrive, I frequently end up waiting past my scheduled time. Most recently, on the morning of my appointment, I was told Anna needed to reschedule due to illness. Given the extremely short notice and the timing around the holidays with upcoming events, I requested a small accommodation of just 30 minutes, the same type of flexibility I have consistently provided in the past. I was told the salon would speak with Anna and follow up with me, but I never heard back. I only learned that my request was denied after calling the salon again myself to follow up. Due to the ongoing scheduling issues, lack of communication, and clear one-sided accommodation, I’ve decided I won't be returning. Professionalism and respect for clients’ time are important, and that hasn't been my experience here. UPDATE: I want to share that the owner personally reached out to address my experience and made a genuine effort to make things right, including offering a complimentary haircut. While I’ve chosen not to return to the salon, I do appreciate the professionalism and care shown in trying to remedy the situation. Future clients should know that the owner is attentive and willing to stand behind the business when concerns are raised.
