We had the pleasure of working with Kontempo for our WAYS Empowers Fundraising Events in both 2023 and 2024, where they provided hair tinsel services, and they were absolutely wonderful! The girls who came were so kind, friendly, and made the experience fun and welcoming for everyone. The hair tinsel ended up being a highlight for many of our attendees, and we received so many positive comments about how much people loved it. Kontempo added such a fun, special touch to our events, and we’re so grateful for their energy and professionalism! Needless to say we ADORE the Kontempo team!

The owner Kirby did my hair for my wedding and IM IN LOVE!! I felt like a Greek goddess! In the chaos and heat of the day, Kirby was a calming presence. You won’t go wrong choosing Kontempo for your salon needs. They work with excellence and precision, and I will definitely be coming back to them.

Got a cut and tone, and it was such a calming experience before a wedding. Sierra was so lovely to work with, was gentle with my hair and it turned out great!! It’s also just a lovely salon to relax in for a couple of hours, I’ve been twice and I feel like so nice knowing that I’m going to love the result.

To say Sarah Kaylene is the best hairstylist in Omaha is truly an understatement. I’ve been seeing her for about two years now, and every single visit is an absolute highlight. Not only does she have incredible talent with both hair color and cuts, but she also has a way of making your entire day better just by being around her. I drive from Lincoln—about an hour away—just to see her, and honestly, I’d drive even farther if I had to. That’s how much I trust and appreciate her work. Sarah is amazing, and I would recommend her to absolutely anyone looking for a hairstylist who is both highly skilled and genuinely uplifting.

I hired Kirby to do my hair for my wedding as well as my mom and MOH’s hair. I had hand-tied extensions and a very elaborate & delicate headpiece, so I hired Kirby because I knew he’d worked with crowns in pageants. Kirby totally knocked it out of the park with my hair as well as my mom’s! My makeup artist (not from Kontempo) was running late, and Kirby helped keep me as calm as possible and reworked the timeline to accommodate the change in plans and to help ease my nerves. He even stayed longer than he would’ve initially had to because of this. I was a wreck because of the makeup artist situation (again, she was not affiliated with Kontempo at all), and Kirby was such a professional and was such a team player. My mom has very fine, difficult-to-work-with hair, and she did not want to get her hair professionally styled for the wedding because she has had bad luck in the past with having her hair styled for weddings. I convinced her to go to a trial with Kirby because I knew if anyone could make her love her hair, it would be Kirby. My mom was in tears at her trial because she loved her hair so much! She said she had never felt so beautiful. That experience made all the difference leading up to the wedding because I wanted my mom to feel her best, and I was so relieved that she was going to love her hair the day of the wedding – which she did! I’d never seen my mom feel so good about herself, which totally made my day! Kirby is a true artist. He was so accommodating and made sure we had the style perfect before the wedding. He makes each person feel important, he truly cares if you are happy, and he is SO kind! Kirby is well worth the money, and I feel so lucky to have gotten such a talent to do my hair for my wedding! Madison and Sydney did the rest of my bridal party’s hair. The entire Kontempo team was on time and did a great job staying on time. My bridesmaids’ hair looked great! Mandi, the bridal coordinator, was so great and easy to work with. She was always very responsive and organized, and everything was scheduled perfectly! 10/10 experience all around with Kontempo! I’m from Texas and came back for a wedding on 6/17 and book my appointment online! They were so professional and listened to what I really wanted and suggested looks for me!! My makeup was flawless and my hair was perfect!! I felt so beautiful!! Would give both The make up artist and the hairstylist a 12 out of 10 they rock!!
