Today was phenomenal with Camille! Finding the perfect foundation and concealer match is so important, and it was wonderful to explore other products that truly enhance natural beauty. The attention and professionalism we received from Camille will definitely keep us coming back. Thank you for everything!

On my recent visits to Ulta in Olathe, I felt unsafe and unwelcome due to the behavior of certain staff. One employee followed me around, made loud comments about the products I was picking up, and even rolled a cart quickly toward me without acknowledging my space. His actions felt invasive and taunting, and I remained silent throughout the experience because I did not want to escalate the situation. On my first visit, the same employee did not greet me but greeted the customer after me. When I asked about a product’s price, he responded dismissively, saying, *"Those prices are not really there, you have to interact with someone like you just did with me."* That tone felt rude and unprofessional. The manager’s attitude also felt dismissive; when I greeted her, she responded with a forced smile that didn’t feel genuine. Together, their actions gave me the impression that I was being judged based on my appearance or individuality, which left me feeling unwelcome. On the positive side, April and Zaydee, the associates who helped me during my visits, were wonderful. They were kind, caring, and professional, and their support stood out in contrast to the negative treatment I experienced from others. April even invited my daughter to come in and offered to help her find the best products for her skin and makeup type. She also reassured me that I could return products if they didn’t work, which made me feel included and valued. Overall, while not every employee was disrespectful, the behavior of the manager and one staff member made me feel unsafe, unwelcome, and unfairly judged. I hope Ulta takes this feedback seriously and ensures better training so that all customers are treated with respect and dignity. Based on how I was treated, I felt that the employee and the manager may have held racist views, since their actions made me feel judged and unwelcome. The actions of these employees not only made me feel unsafe and unwelcome, but they also undermine the hard work of the good associates and hurt Ulta’s reputation. Even though April and Zaydee were the nicest to me, the mixed attitudes I experienced make me hesitant to return to this location.

I always get my hair cut here and it's great! Yesterday I had Preston as my stylist and it's my favorite haircut ever! Thank you all so much!!! And even when I'm just shopping the rest of the team is always so helpful, whether it's helping me find an exfoliating face wash or my perfect pink lipstick (MAC Syrup)! My favorite Ulta location!

By far the absolute BEST shopping experience I’ve ever had! I visited the store today intending to buy tinted moisturizer and what I got in return was the most amazing interaction with Matt and his beautiful teammate whose name I failed to get. They were so attentive and kind! I got so much more than makeup today…I got a powerful moment of encouragement and much needed affirmations. They literally had me crying in the middle of the Clinique section. THANK YOU is simply not enough for what they poured into me today. Ulta is truly blessed to have such a dynamic duo!!!!

I received the most phenomenal hair wash, trim, and blow out of my life from Preston. My appointment was a walk-in, and it was such a strike of luck that Preston was available. I have never had someone care so much about my hair, the amount of precision(!!!) and energy that was put into my service is Something I have not experienced even in the most Upscale salon salons. He listened to my wants & he was incredibly meticulous and had Laser focus on the tiniest little hairs. I went in, hoping to get a little dusting of my split ends, and I don’t think there is a single unsnipped hair on my head. I left the salon Feeling special and beautiful Everyone in both of the retail area and the salon were incredibly sweet and personable. The store was clean & bright, Every section of the store was well stocked and the staff seemed like they loved what they did. I will definitely return to this location and I will absolutely come back to get my hair done by Preston.

Love going to Ulta because of all the great choices. Also love the great advice when I'm unsure of an appropriate product and customer service was born in an Ulta store! Great sales and easy checkout. Ulta has a wonderful culture of embracing diversity and welcoming people. It shows in their products and personnel.

Walked around the store for 25 minutes and not one person said hello to me. I had already called the store and asked them to put a hair color up front, which they did but after being ignored I let them know I will buy the product from a different store and left. Maybe because I was in a hoodie and no make up? They didnt seem to care when I said something. I had a $200 gift card and points in my account.... moving on to next Ulta!
