I started my loc journey with Ajá Hair Care in 2021. After I had my son, I experienced major postpartum shedding on top of fighting the scalp condition seborrheic dermatitis. As someone who took pride in the health and length of my hair, I was devastated by my hair loss. The day I sat in Bernice’s chair was the start of a new and healthier relationship with my hair. I learned quickly Bernice wasn’t the typical Loctician. She literally furthered her education and became a Trichologist in which she was able to treat and educate me on my scalp condition. My hair has been through many phases but this has been the healthiest my hair and scalp has ever been. I am beyond grateful for this journey and wouldn’t want to experience it in anyone else’s chair.
