I had an excellent experience with Hannah at Hannah’s Salon (Room 102, Broadway Salon Studios, Novi). I came in with very long hair (waist length) and was clear that I wanted to preserve the length while adding soft, lightweight layers and thin curtain bangs—not heavy bangs or blunt cuts. I also specifically asked for wispy, center-parted bangs that would blend naturally into the layers and work well both with open hair and ponytails. Hannah took the time to listen carefully, asked the right questions, and really understood my concerns—especially about avoiding thick bangs that can overwhelm the face. She paid close attention to my hair texture and density and tailored the cut accordingly. I have oily roots with dry ends, naturally straight hair that holds soft waves, and I don’t use heat tools often. Hannah shaped the layers in a way that keeps my hair light, flowy, and easy to manage, without weighing it down or making it frizzy. The curtain bangs sit perfectly on my forehead and frame my face beautifully without looking bulky. What I appreciated most was her precision and restraint—she didn’t over-cut, didn’t rush, and respected exactly what I asked for. The haircut looks great even without styling, which is very important to me. Hannah is very thoughtful and meticulous and makes sure to consistently consult with you on every stage of the process, ensuring your inputs are reflected in the final result. My hair is difficult since it is thick, textured, and varies in length, which requires a lot of flexibility and creativity to style. Needless to say, placing my full faith and trust in her, she went above and beyond the reference picture I showed! It's also worth noting Hannah's first language isn't English, but she communicates effectively, ensuring all your needs are understood and met. Your patience will be rewarded with a level of care and dedication that is top-tier💯💯💯. She also goes out of her way to make you feel comfortable and one of the first things she asked is if I wanted to watch anything on Netflix. It was very wholesome of her to offer water and snacks. 😊 The custom pricing was also incredibly reasonable, and beats any other part of MI out of the park (even rivaling NY): $25 cut + $70 perm. Overall, I highly recommend anyone to visit Hannah if they're seeking out a quality perm-and-cut experience, complemented by kind hospitality and unbeatable pricing.

Hannah is an excellent stylist. I have been going to Hannah for hair cut and coloring for several years and always receive excellent service. She is attentive, careful, highly skilled and very accommodating. Highly recommended!

I showed the stylist a reference picture and clearly explained how I wanted my haircut. Unfortunately, the final result did not match what I requested. The service took around 45 minutes just for the haircut, and the blow-dry was not done properly. Since it was getting late for me, I had to ask her to stop before finishing. Overall, I was disappointed as the outcome did not meet my expectations.

I got my very first perm with Hannah and was so happy with my experience! She is so kind and professional. I got exactly what I asked for after showing her inspo photos for a great price.
