D'Vina's Salon & Spa

Went to D'Vina's salon in October. I haven't been in a hair salon for years so I'm taking her word on my hair. I got to the salon at 11:00am and walked out around 8:30pm. Did free consult with D'Vina and she didn't listen to what I wanted. Only wanted my hair styled and she insisted I buy her hair extensions 5 pack bundle. She keep saying "believe in me." Expect her to push her products on you too! Plus the receptionist double charged me with the products. 2nd appointment at D'Vina's put a toner on my hair. I told her one of the extensions was showing and I can't have that. She told me nothing was showing and she never fixed it! She wanted me to make an appointment so she can do an updo for a wedding I was going to. I told her I just want my hair styled for the wedding. Third appointment she was going to do a toner and she decides to do color. I asked her I want a style for my hair which I thought she was doing. Plus I saw a roach! She did a horrible style nothing I wanted. She charged me a updo that I didn't want and I didn't liked it Plus the receptionist missed up the charges again. This salon is not organized either. I will never go back to this salon! Beware at D'Vina's high prices for her services, she doesn't listen to what you want, plan on staying there all day, plan on her pushing her extensions and hair products and plan on getting charged double from the receptionist. Worst experience I ever had in a salon! Please beware before you go to D'Vina's Salon!!

Okay EVERYONE HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND. I have never been to another hair dresser before and I messed up real bad with box dye and decided to come here to fix my hair. When I say MEGHAN AND THE GIRLS COMPLETELY fixed the yellow and orange in my hair. I am beyond satisfied with their services and so happy they were able to revive my hair. Just for proof I’m leaving some before and after pictures below and I think those say it all!!!!!!

I love this place! They did a beautiful job on my daughter's hair cut. They are family friendly! While my hair was being washed, cut, and colored they set my two children ages 10 and 13 in the spa chairs and let them watch Netflix. My kids said that was their favorite part of our day out LOL. I loved the cut and color when I had left but realized when I got home the color was not quite as blonde as I was hoping and they had no problems when I came back in the next day to get it adjusted. D'Vina's has a great reputation for a reason. She uses experiences like mine as a teaching experience rather than reprimanding the stylist which I have seen elsewhere. It was great seeing how much they work as a team. My hair is perfect now and I look forward to going in for touch ups in two months. Oh and if you are trying to grow your hair out D'Vina's is your answer!!!!!

Wow! Shannon is amazing! She completely listened to everything I asked for and delivered! She also helped me understand the products to get and how to use them. The vibe there was so chill. They have beer, champagne, or wine offered! I met Denise and she was so nice. Just great vibes all around! I'm definitely going back 🙂 It is a shame it's soooooo pricey tho 🤷🏼‍♀️

Got my hair colored here and I love how it turned out. The hairstylist was super nice and the owner was super awesome. They made sure my hair looked perfect. I had golden tones in my hair and told them I wanted mushroom brown hair.

- Overcharged $20 for regular gel manicure/express pedi. - No special designs, no acrylics. According to website $35 for gel mani - charged $52!!! (again zero extras so that price regardless is ridiculous) I called when I saw bill emailed waited on phone for 13 mins then told I would get a call back. I said don’t bother just cancel the wax I was going to do in few day and peace out! The nail tech was very nice that is the positive star. UPDATE: Received a call back said will refund the overcharge. WELL they gave me A CREDIT to there salon...NO THANK YOU! & Prices have not changed on website over a month.

Positives: Davina was very caring, super enthusiastic and definitely was knowledgeable about hair, really helped educate me of the needs that my hair neglected and made my hair come back to life with a hair treatment that she recommended ❤️. I absolutely love the results of the treatment and would definitely come back for another treatment when needed. The environment is pretty great super relaxed and everyone is friendly. Negatives: I’m sadden to say but I was very unhappy with my hair cut 😔. Curtain bangs are definitely some thing hard to master from what I have experience with different hairstylists, I love curtain bangs and I realized the risks a person can take when wanting to get curtain bangs depending on who was cutting it. I spoke to Davina and told her exactly what I was wanting and even showed her pictures for examples. I thought she understood what I wanted but at the end, the curtain bangs did not turn out at all as I expected 😔 (view reference pictures below, the picture of my hair is not styled keep that in mind but when it is the The shortest piece is even more shorter). Although the girl on my left that was getting a haircut her curtain bangs turned out exactly as what I wanted… sadly to say I was not to thrilled with my haircut experience. I came back the next day to buy hair products and I spoke to Davina to let her know the cut was too short she did not really say much except the fact that my hair will grow back in a week which I understand it’s hair of course it will but I did not get a haircut to have to love it only after it grows out. I was charged for the haircut full price although I think it would’ve been fair if I received a discount or a voucher for a next visit.
