Sophie's Salon

I had a wonderful experience with Sophie. First and foremost her personality is wonderful. Very easy to talk to and she will do what you want done with your hair. Within reason obviously. She cares about the integrity of your hair. I went in with basically a color correction tons of grow out and grey hair. She got me to where I wanted to be in one service. I’ll post before and after pictures. I also want t add that I took my son in there a couple weeks later and he showed his butt that day was all over her chair screaming and crying acting a complete mess and she handled it with a calm graceful understanding manner. It didn’t phase her one bit. She did everything she could to accommodate my son before during and after his haircut. Not to mention her prices are the most reasonable price you will find by far. Her quality of work is beyond exceptional. She will definitely be me and my family’s new beautician from here on out.

I am so thrilled to have found Sophie! I am trying to grow my pixie out a little and fix my box-colored hair to a uniform blonde color and Sophie knew exactly what to do! She performed her magic and my pixie cut now has a style easy to manage to grow out and my highlights are stunning. She made me feel simply wonderful the entire time that I was in her chair. What a lovely, friendly, compassionate, professional, and skilled stylist Sophie is! She is as beautiful on the outside as she is on the inside. I will be a permanent client from this point forward. Highly recommend!! Been here now a couple of times I will not go anywhere else now ..I love getting my hair done with Sophie. She does an amazing job with such talent, her cuts and colors are unmatched ! She’s dedicated to her clients and worked hard to customize each of the looks I was wanting. Such an amazing stylist and all around wonderful human to know!!

The best haircut I've ever (EVER) had!! Sophie's experience allows her to look at your face shape, evaluate the texture of your hair, and suggest a couple of great options. She's a genius shaping hair, and wonderful with color. My before and after are below...no comparison!!

Sophie’s is Awesome. I walked in with long drab hair and told her to do what she thought would look best on me. She sat me down and gave me the most awesome layered cut in about 5 mins. Not only does she have a superstar personality, she’s a Ninja. She is very accommodating. She fit me in at my preference at the last minute. She’s my new stylist. I’m keeping her. She’s a gem.

Worst haircut in decades! I went in for hi lites/lo lites and a TRIM. I’d grown my hair out for seven months and was loving the length especially the way the back flipped up.I showed Sophie a picture of the style I was trying to achieve during our initial consultation. Sophie asked if I was going to continue growing my hair and I replied, "not much longer than this." Her reply was, "I don’t see the point in that!" I was horrified when she finished. The entire back of my hair was cut off! The back is cut uneven and she didn’t take into consideration that I have cowlicks and my hair separates there. She didn’t even shave my neck! The sides were nothing how I wanted them. I had to stop her before she cut my hair over my ears! She totally ignored the picture. I left terribly upset and I hate my hair; which is an understatement. Seven months of growth entirely ruined. Since when does the stylist do what SHE wants to do rather than listen to the customer?! I will never return to that salon!

Sophie's Salon is easy to get to, right on 41N in NP. Plenty of parking. Very clean salon. Sophie works a lot of hours (open on Monday's!!! And accepts walk ins) and will definitely find time for you without making you feel rushed. She asks questions about your likes and dislikes during the cut and coloring to be sure you are getting exactly what you want. Sophie is a warm and friendly lady with a great sense of style. I will no longer let anyone else touch my hair.
