I make an appointment with Ivan every month for a haircut, never ever disappoints!! Ivan is super professional, incredibly fast, and actually listens to what you want (which is honestly rare these days!). if you need a fresh cut, go see Ivan..Ivan..Ivan~! Five stars for Ivan, no doubt!!

I left a note when I made the appointment that my hair is curly and I was not made aware til the day of service they don't tailor curly hair. And the stylist didn't even show up 😭

Five stars for IVAN! He is the best hairstylist in Miami! His customer service is excellent and will walk you through the process! On the other hand, 1 star for the owner of the salon. She quoted me $505 for the digital perm, color, highlights, shampoo/blow dry and a haircut. I then agreed to the price. Ivan started the service and halfway though, he told me I didn’t need a haircut as my hair got shorten already with the perm and save that haircut fee $55. I said yes that’s fine! At checked out, I paid $470 which includes the following: Digital perm $250 Color and shampoo $120 Highlights $100 Plus I added the hair mousse which is $30 plus tax. I paid over $500 in total plus $100 tip. I left the salon at 10PM and around 11PM the salon wanted me to Venmo them the haircut $35 because that was part of the "quote" uhm? Excuse me? I was livid! First of all, the customer was already out of your property. Second, why are you charging me for the service/s that was not rendered?!!! What type of business practice is this?! I do not mind paying additional $35 if I actually got the haircut! Duh! ** in the event that I didn’t get the digital perm, would you still charge me additional $250 just because it was quoted at the beginning?** Apparently, this salon only cares about the MONEY and not the retention rate of the customers! I am not coming back and I’m sorry Ivan, you are great but you are better off somewhere else! To future customers: RUN away, don’t walk!

The haircut is quick and professional. Ivan is great for female haircut! Would come again.

This post is long overdue! But I have been going here for the past couple of years and Ivan really knows how to really take great care of my hair. I literally drive and fly back to get my hair done by him! TLDR: I highly recommend going to Ivan if you have Asian hair and need someone who knows how to work with it, if you want a wonderful affordable balayage and I highly recommend doing the Melbourne hair treatment If you are like me who has damaged hair I used to get my hair done in Cali in places where they often dealt with Asian black hair and was worried when I moved to Florida that I wouldn’t be able to find someone. Ivan is a god send from the hair gods! I have sensitive scalp and takes this into consideration whenever we bleach and dye my hair so as to not trigger a negative reaction. He also takes the time bleach my hair slowly as to not cause damage or breakage. He executes my balayage requests almost Always on point and if I need changes he makes sure to accommodate me. Despite moving far away from north Miami, I still try to make it a point to have Ivan take care of my hair! Last time they also did a Melbourne treatment on my hair and OMG!!! The difference it made on my damaged hair (been bleaching and doing balayage for almost 6 years). The treatment left my hair feeling so soft and shiny! Last but not least, they never try to pressure me buy more things than I actually need. Ivan even recommends affordable products to upkeep my hair and he makes sure I don’t do my balayage too often so that I don’t do too much damage to my hair. He really cares for his art and the product of his work!
