One of the best haircuts I've ever gotten. I asked Ray to cut it however he thought would look good and loved the result.

First thing we noticed when walking in the shop was how clean it smelled. Hubby had a terrific experience, best haircut he’s gotten in ages & thoroughly enjoyed chatting with Ray. Also the first time he’s gotten a razor shave & loved that too.

Ray is very professional and pleasant. I have got a nice haircut in a very clean environment . It is hard to find a nice barbershop nowadays. will be back for sure on my way north next spring ...

Mr. Ray was able to squeeze me in as a walk in even though he was busy and had his day fully booked. Recommend calling ahead and making an appointment if you can. Great conversation and great old fashioned cut finished with a straight edge. $23 cut with appointment, $27 without. Street parking is available up the road or parking garage near by.

Recently moved to Hampton Roads area and needed to find a new barber. I found Hairways while walking around downtown Norfolk. I booked a haircut with Ray for the following week. At my appointment Ray spent time with me to understand how I take care of my hair and what styles I like. Ray did a great job cutting my hair all the while having a great conversation. Can't wait to go back and have him cut my hair again!
