3 Bowls of Color

Well I thought with it being a pretty nice salon and being told there were a few ladies that cut kids hair boys in particular that we'd come out with a good haircut. Well I was mistaken. I chose the lady I chose because I just thought she'd do better. If I would have noticed how uneven, not lined, and hardly cut at all I would have definitely said something. But I couldn't tell until he washed his hair. I will not be going back for any haircuts or anything after spending $40 on a child's haircut for it to be uneven. I thought it would be better than Great Clips but unfortunately it was not.

Jensen is amazing!! She took the time to really understand what my hair goals were and what my budget was. My hair was originally a darker strawberry color and had previous bleach and dye on it, and by the end it was exactly what I wanted with no damage! The salon is super cute and everyone seems really friendly. I highly recommend 3 bowls.

3 Bowls of Color was recommended to me by my fiancé who has been here twice to have her hair lifted from dark brunette to a beautiful blonde. I have had terrible experiences with men’s haircuts throughout my time in the Marine Corps and my civilian life. I’ve NEVER left a haircut happy. It was either terrible, or just "good enough" until I let it grow out again. That changed today when I came in and sat down with Pearl. I was able to give her a single reference photo for the style I wanted and she made magic happen, even though I have a totally different hairline and texture of hair from the reference photo. She was personable, attentive, and worked with my requests throughout the entire experience. She was a joy to talk to the entire time and it felt more like hanging out with a friend than it did a business transaction. She took great care to assure me that even with my lack luster history of hairdos, I wouldn’t leave her chair unhappy and she was ABSOLUTELY right. My fiancé and I cannot recommend her enough, and I’ll happily be back every 8 weeks for regular upkeep. She is a miracle worker. How she was able to turn my mop of hair into this is nothing short of remarkable. 100 out of 5 stars from me.

To start off, I went to this salon in the past and never had a problem until I changed stylists. This salon was disgusting and rude to me when I came back due to a bad bleach job. When I first sat in my stylist's chair, named Katie, she NEVER did a test strand on my hair and kept telling others around her that she was going to lift me to a 9. She only started to backtrack when she dried my hair and started to say that I would have to come back and even out my hair. I was never told this before we started, only at the end. This service cost me 400+ dollars just for everyone to say that I should go back and get my money back because it wasn't worth it. When I went back to get some sort of solution, the stylist kept claiming that nothing was wrong with my hair even though it's clear as day that it's VERY uneven, and I would have to wait 4 weeks until I could do anything to my hair. Their only solutions were going darker or waiting until they could rebleach my hair. I just wanted some sort of compensation so I can get it redone at a different stylist, but refused saying that it was normal and I was warned before hand. They NEVER took accountability for it being patchy, saying it was normal, but I was able to get an even bleach with a different stylist at the SAME SALON. This has emotionally drained me and I just don't recommend because they're not even willing to fix my hair unless I get something I don't want or look like a bad at-home bleach job for multiple weeks. Not worth the money and can't even own up to the work they did, just disgusting.

In our experience, receiving a haircut at 3 bowls of color was NOT the way to go. We had to go to another place to get it fixed. Super sad and frustrating. Maybe, the stylist was having a bad day? Let’s hope.

I was hesitant to go to Paige to begin with because the ONLY review for her on the website is the EXACT same issue less than 2 months ago. I wanted a blonde balayage and cut, yet somehow my hair looked darker after services were finished. Before I even paid and left the salon I mentioned not being happy with my hair stating "I thought it would be much lighter" and the stylist made multiple excuses and told me it would lighten after a few washes (it did not after a week). An HOUR after I left the salon, the stylist messaged me stating she wanted to ensure I was happy with my hair. My original appointment was rescheduled with very short notice (2 hours prior due to stylist). When I initially asked for my hair to get fixed it took multiple days to discuss a new appointment time. I told the stylist I would prefer first thing in the morning 3 days from then and it wasn't until AFTER I requested a refund did she miraculously have availability on that day.

My teen loves having her hair cut here. Pearl has been cutting her hair for a couple of years now and she's amazing. The staff is professional and kind. The atmosphere is very welcoming and comfortable.
