As someone who is super picky about her salon and stylist, I have nothing but great things to say about Tribeca Hair Studio, specifically Karen! She takes the time to listen to what you want and really understand your preferences. She gives suggestions based on her experience but keeps what you want in mind. Karen also happens to be the coolest and sweetest woman. I leave the salon extremely satisfied every time whether it’s a cut or simply just a blowout she knows what she’s doing. The salon itself is clean and very pleasant to be in. Highly recommend!

Let me start by staying, when I booked the appointment- I told the front desk that I have extensions and I require someone experienced because I’m picky and it was for my birthday. I was not happy with my experience with Rosa. I explained her what I wanted and she told me that using a flat iron and curls will look better. Now I know, it was likely because of time. She didn’t know how to put on my extensions and kept taking it off about 10 times. It was so frustrating because she wasn’t listening to anything I said about how to put it on and how it felt. She should’ve gotten help. Furthermore after, the results looked like something I can do myself. My hair was flat, and my regular hair didn’t blend with the extensions. I told her to curl more but again, this is not what I wanted. She wasn’t listening to anything I was saying that I want. I did not like my hair and had to fix it in my hotel. Lastly, when I checked out I told the front desk that I was not happy. Instead of making it better and offering anything, she said" next time you book, make sure to tell the front desk you have extensions" WHAT THe HELL? I will not be coming back number 1 ( I am from VA) and she put this whole thing on me when I did my due diligence. Utterly rude.. ruined my birthday. Don’t go if you’re from out of town. Stay away.

Bobby goes above and beyond. Artful haircuts and shave / grooming with strong detailing. Every 2 weeks no regrets. He offers a 5 day complementary redo cut - never needed it but he stands by his product

Karen is genuinely exceptional. I’m extremely picky about my hair—especially my bangs—and she gets it right every single time. She’s precise, detail-oriented, and actually listens. The cut always grows out beautifully, and she never rushes through anything. If you care about quality and consistency, she’s the person you want cutting your hair. Highly recommend.
