Chloe is a total hair magician. The way she cuts is so gentle you barely feel a thing. That’s real pro skill right there. The perm came out curly, spiraled, and honestly pretty cute. (Hair is not styled and no product. AND it looks this good!!! Mann 😍!) One thing though: management added a 7$ something credit card fee. Not the end of the world, but it did feel a little bothering.

At first I thought I got a great haircut only to walk out and see how choppy it was. It was my first time seeing a hairstylist cut hair straight across instead of in layers. Paid $100 and was disappointed with how uneven my hair was. Attached is the back of my hair when I stepped out of the salon. Pretty disappointed. I went here because people said it was high quality but it wasn’t. I would recommend you get a haircut with a director instead of a stylist due to my experience.

I’m suspicious of these 5 star reviews. I went in for a digital perm and they burnt my hair to a crisp. Still charged me $400 as a discontinued. I was so dismayed I paid it numb from the shock of the burnt pieces and loose hairs hanging from my scalp. I came home and find my coat smeared with white cream by the sour faced shampoo woman. Spent hundred to fix the damage and I have pieces of Afro like hair that can not be fixed. The clientele is mostly men which should have been an indication they can’t do women’s hair. They claim to be Korean but most of the stylists here are Chinese.

I would advise against Director Ian. First, it has been 3 months since my last perm and I was planning to just get a haircut. Online research said, 3-6 months or even up to 8 months if you prefer more wavy, which I preferred, than curly. But Ian said I should get a perm every 2-3 months. I felt already he wanted to squeeze me for my money, but I trusted his expertise. Then I showed Ian pics of the look I wanted and again, he shook his head, and said he can make it look better than the pic I showed and that style doesn’t suit me. And once again, I trusted his experience. They washed my hair before and after the perm, and my hair honestly looked nearly identical both times, so I thought to myself, why did I just pay hundreds of dollars for this perm for almost no change. I also didn’t think it looked much like the pic he showed me. A week later, I came back, to get my perm redone, because I would constantly think to myself, how disappointed I was with the result. I also wanted to say I am not just hating. This was my fourth perm here and I previously left a five star review because I was happy with the results. I also had a perm with Jane before and I wasn’t satisfied the first time, so she offered to redo it. I came back, she was diligent, very attentive to my preferences, repermed and recut, and the end result was genuinely satisfying. However, when I came back to Ian, he barely put any effort, kinda insulted the quality of my hair by saying the look I was going for wasn’t really possible with my hair, and told me to buy their hair products. I would have at least appreciated if he tried his best to get closer like Jane. Especially after he overruled my initial preferences twice and I spent hundreds of dollars. Almost a month after, I still think almost every day how disappointed I am with the perm. I should have stuck to my preferences instead of letting Ian overrule it. I had my first perms here, and only here. And I do think the other stylists, Julie, Soyoung, and Jane, did a good job of achieving the look I wanted. But, in the future, I will be trying other places, that my other friends recommended, at much lower prices than here. FYI, they also give discounts if you leave a review, which I think manipulates the rating

I had an amazing experience with my hairstylist Director Ian! From hair color to perm and haircut, he absolutely nailed everything. He knows exactly what you’re looking for and gives thoughtful, honest suggestions that truly elevate the final result. His attention to detail is incredible, and he works with such patience, politeness, and humility. Beyond his skills, he’s genuinely a wonderful human being. The entire staff was also very polite and welcoming, which made the experience even better. I drove 3 hours to get here, and it was completely worth it. Highly recommend this place!

I had an amazing experience here! I booked an appointment with Halley through instagram and was planning to donate my hair. Although they do not directly send donated hair, she was super helpful and communicated super clear with how she can help with donated hair. When I got to the salon, I was treated with utmost care and she listened clearly to what I wanted and checked with me multiple times on how much hair to cut and styling I wanted! She was super precision and detail oriented with how she cut. Would definitely recommend coming here and booking with Halley!

Halley took really good care of my styling today! I did a single dye from black to a dark plum purple. I initially wanted a pastel purple but she taught me that I would need several rounds of bleach, which would damage my hair. This kept my hair healthy and still added some color. It was an easy process and I loved the head massage at the end 🙂
