I got my hair done with Amy, truly one of the best out there. She toned down my hair, cut it and gave it a cute style at the end. It came out exactly how I wanted it to and props to her because lord do I have so MUCH hair. The rest of the staff is just as lovely as her. Amy has been doing my hair for the last 16 years , she is the most talented color correction specialist I’ve ever met. She is precise in her work and her dedication to her craft is remarkable! Definitely recommend!

Not a pretty salon and blowdry was average. I really hated how they talked to me in the end, demanding tip and going about it so aggressively. Tips should be at the decision of the customer, not the business. Honestly they were rude and demanding and not friendly or professional enough to receive a 20% tip. Except for the girl who washed my hair, she was sweet.

I’ve been going to Amy for over 10 years, and I can confidently say she’s one of the best in NYC. She cuts, colors, and styles my hair with such skill and consistency every single time. Her talent is matched by her warm personality and professionalism, which makes every appointment feel like a treat. She truly listens, understands what works best for you, and always delivers amazing results. After a decade of great experiences, I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my hair. Therefore, even after moving to Virginia, I still make the trip back to NYC just to get my hair done by her…. Truly a gem. Highly recommend!

I walked in at Union Square since I work few blocks away. I did a man haircut and I found professional hair stylist, Alvin. He did a very very good job, I will go there again and recommend friends. For sure I will bring my girlfriend next time. Thanks Alvin and Hairspot NYC

I had an amazing experience! I’m new to the city and was looking for a good salon that wasn’t too expensive. Michelle L was my stylist and she took so much care over my hair. She was confident but checked with me what I wanted and I was so happy with the result. I will be going back 🙂
