Thankful to find this place. Saw Jessica and learned she moved from another New Braunfels location to here. So glad she did. Thrilled with how my haircut turned out and her shoulder and scalp massage is incredible. Super sweet too. Highly recommend her.

I’ve been coming here since they first opened, and Angel has been my barber the whole time. She is amazing — always consistent, professional, and detail-oriented. The shop is clean, the service is great, and the overall experience is top-notch. Highly recommend Angel and this place in general.

I recently visited Matador Men’s Grooming, and I think the overall concept of the shop is excellent. The space is modern, clean, and welcoming, with a great brand image and environment. You can tell a lot of thought was put into making it feel like a premium men’s grooming destination. However, the quality of the haircut I received did not reflect that same premium standard. While the staff were polite, the outcome felt more like a cosmetology-style cut than a true barber’s cut. The precision and detailing that you expect from a barbershop just weren’t there. If it weren’t for the $25 grand opening line charge, it honestly wouldn’t feel worth coming here—especially if you care deeply about the quality of your haircut and are expecting traditional barbering skills. That said, I do believe Matador Men’s Grooming has real potential. With stronger training and a focus on technique, the shop could absolutely become a standout barbershop in the area. Right now, though, there’s room for improvement to make the service match the excellent concept

Stopped in for a haircut at matador Creekside and had an awesome experience! Free drink to start and Vienna did an excellent job. Definitely coming back.

Jessica was absolutely amazing this afternoon . I came in with hair grown out down to my shoulders after 2 years and she worked with me to give me a great style…very pleased with the service and accommodations provided by Jessica and the business as a whole. Will be back!

I have had mixed experiences here, some barbers rush through the consultation, but there are some really talented barbers. The included short massage is a nice touch and the facility is always clean. The offered bourbon or water is also nice. Fair market price for the services offered, on the expensive side.

Saw Elizabeth and she’s amazing. Super sweet and just got one of my favorite cuts I’ve ever had. Got stuck in a rut of the same haircut style for years, but I trusted her knowledge and experience and she got me a look I love. Super happy.
