Salon Cajj

Love this place need to pay a visit again soon. Jose gives great haircuts and so does Jason and Mary was always great with color!

Never again. I’ve tried Salon Cajj twice now for simple trims, and both times I left regretting my decision. The first time, I asked for 2-3 inches off the bottom. My hairdresser (I don’t remember her name now) must have zoned out while cutting, because I ended up losing 8 inches by the end. My hair started out halfway down my back and ended up almost above my shoulders. I was unhappy but at least the haircut was decent. The second time I visited (a few weeks ago), Jose gave me the single worst haircut I’ve ever had - by a wide margin. Refer to the pic attached. I would’ve written this review sooner but was too upset and embarrassed until now. He was unbelievably careless and sloppy with my hair: grabbing large chunks and making straight cuts with scissors, noticeably missing hairs, without going back to fine-tune his work. He also kept socializing with people around, which is generally fine except that he was making eye contact with them instead of looking at my hair while cutting. The entire cut took about 10 minutes, and the only tool he used were those scissors. He proceeded to hide the terrible cut under a blowdry and called it a day. Absolutely horrible. This salon is a 3-minute drive from where I live, and I will never come back.

Took my son to Jim. My son has course super curly hair, was super long and grows upward and it was all tangled up throughout because he didnt take care of it. Jim was amazing! He got ALL the tangled areas out, he shortened it without compromising too much of the length. So happy!! Went somewhere prior, spent $80+ and they did crap for his hair. Jim will be my sons new hairdresser from now on! FYI-We used to go to Salon back in the day when Charles ran it and many of my family members still go there to date. Dont listen to negative comments - try it yourself.

Super friendly Great customer service​ live 25 minutes away worth the drive. Ask for Daniel does an awsome job attention to detail.

This is the worst salon I've ever gone to. I will never go back there. After having to be there for 4 hours, my hair came out horrible. The dye was uneven and my highlights were a mess. I asked for red highlights, and they came out orange. After 2 washes my new color is gone. I asked for bangs and all i got was a few hairs that just poke my eyes. I am going to my regular stylist next week when I get paid so she can fix it. I only went here because my regular stylist had an emergency come up. In the end I had to pay $240 for some ugly hair that I am stuck with for another week. Dont ever go here unless you have alot of money and don't care about your hair. I wouldn't even send my worst enemy to this place. Update: I was given a refund for all service except the haircut. Thank you for that.

After reading some of these reviews, I don't see the logic in giving Salon CAJJ 2 stars. I've personally have been going here for 25+ years and have recommended my friends and family. Every single one of them loved their stylist. Remember a stylist can only go by what you say. They'll ask you questions to get a better understanding of your wants and likes, but if you're not vocal then it falls in your lap. First timers should search for pics on their phone and share with the stylists. I do it all the time when I want to change it up a little. They are there to please and they all have loyal clients or they wouldn't be in business since the 80's.

I like this Salon, besides of my hairstylist Daniel always meet my expectation. I like the interior that make me feel friendly and comfortable. The price is really reasonable. I haven't changed the Salon and my hairstylist since 2013.
