Twigs Salon

I have nothing to say but great things about Twigs! For a long time, my hair was the thing I liked best about myself. And while this has thankfully changed over the years, I am saying this to let you know how important it was for me to find a quality stylist when I first wandered in on a recommendation. I have been seeing Trish, the owner of Twigs, for about 8 years. Out of all the many hairdressers I’ve had cut and style my hair in my life, she is the one who best interpreted my wishes and was able to accomplish what I was asking with pictures and descriptions. She is professional, kind, and considerate of her clients. She is exceptionally skilled and does the most flattering cuts, balayage, and ombré I’ve ever had. Every time I leave her chair, her work has left me feeling confident and beautiful. She is also one of the few stylists out there who you can either have a conversation with or lapse into silence, whatever you prefer. And she takes the time to remember the small details even if it’s been awhile since you’ve visited. Similarly, I can tell she takes great care in those she hires into her salon. I have not seen another stylist, but I pay attention when I’m there. They are all proficient and talented. I have not visited for waxing or other services, but I have heard positive things. Do yourself a favor and visit Twigs. Come in, sit down, have a tea, and pamper yourself with a haircut at this salon.

I was unable to book a cut and color before leaving New England for the month of August in Missoula w grandchildren. My daughter who knows hair and make up far better than I do had raved about Twigs for years. I showed pics of what I wanted and the root touch up had a darker base than I’d had in the past but I trusted Trish and was not disappointed. Far from it. The auburn that I asked for popped within two days. I love the cut and color. So do others. Very thankful for the professionalism and conversation. Did not realize until I got in the chair that I had booked with the owner. Highly recommend Trish in every way a first time client could hope for. 🙏

I decided to cut and color my hair, which was long and light brunette to a short and blonde bob. This was a huge (and scary) leap for me and the stylist did an amazing job! I'm in love with my new cut and color. Quality work and friendly people. I've had a different stylist each time I've gone in but they all seem to do great work either way! They always do their best to get you an appointment when you need one. They close at 5 on week days and have Saturday hours.

Jayden was great. She divided my hair into four ponytails to get extra length for my Locks of Love donation, then cut my hair to match the style I'd found online. Highly recommend!

I come here regularly just to get a haircut and it's pretty much the best I've ever had. Of course, being a full salon there are a lot of different services here but it's good for everyone, even for the simplest cuts. We're friends with Megan and I always get appointments with her. She's friendly and knows exactly what to do to make your hair look good not just for that day but also looking ahead as it grows out. Definitely my favorite place in Missoula to get a haircut - don't let the word "salon" freak you out, it's for guys too!

I went to Twigs because I wasn't entirely satisfied with the salon I had been frequenting. I got Ashley as my stylist and absolutely loved her. She was fun and sweet and gave mea FABULOUS cut. It was exactly what I wanted. I will definitely be coming back and would recommend this salon to anyone!

The stylist didn't listen to what I wanted at all, and I even brought in a reference that I showed her multiple times. It was supposed to be a long bob; a hairstyle which is shorter in the back and long in the front, right? So... Why did my hair turn out BELOW MY SHOULDERS, when I said multiple times that I wanted ABOVE my shoulders. Why are the ends choppy? Why are there a) very few layers when I asked for more of them and (b why are they obviously very choppy? Choppy, almost non existent layers can be styled away, but I'm annoyed about the fact that she did nothing close to what I asked for. It wasn't short enough, and it wasn't even in the right style. If I ever come to this salon again, I'm staying FAR away from her.
