Salon Rouge

I'm a new regular here. After years of getting blowouts and keratin treatments all over the twin cities with disappointing results, Richard gave me the hair I've always wanted. The atmosphere is gorgeous and it's always inviting. Plus you get cute salon dog sightings!

Salon Rouge is the best! My amazing stylist, Sadie, and the rest of the staff are warm, welcoming, and so cool. I'm always greeted by little Birdie (the most adorable chihuahua) and offered something to drink and a place to hang my coat, etc. The atmosphere is stylish, chic, charming, and comfortable. It's like going over to a friend's house. The stylists are amazing at what they do. I am always very happy when I leave and always excited to show off my new hair. This is the only salon I will go to as long as I live in the twin cities. They always have those lifesaver mints for when you leave too-yum! I absolutely love this place and everyone here.

I absolutely love Salon Rouge! Richard is so professional, kind and talented! His hair cuts are so fabulous I travel back from NYC to see him. Cannot recommend enough. Easy street parking, and close to so many good spots for lunch, dinner or happy hour after your cut.

Just had my hair done by Matthew and it’s gorgeous!! I’m so thankful I trusted the reviews and took a leap of faith on a Groupon. I’ve been trying to find someone I really like for my hair for ages and I’ll definitely be back. The salon is also really fun/cute, all of the employees were friendly and wearing masks. It felt really clean and safe in this crazy COVID world. Highly recommend Salon Rouge and from what I saw you can’t go wrong with any stylists but big shout out to Matt!

I had such a great haircut and partial foil! Matthew was my stylist—he was so great at understanding my desired look and really took the time to hear what i was going for. The space is very cozy, intimate and welcoming. I definitely Recommend Salon Rouge and especially Matthew!!

I used a Groupon to try the place out and I wasn't the least bit disappointed! I had Sadie who gave me a trim and a red baylage. She really listened to what I was asking for and I could tell she tried hard to achieve it! The semi permanent didn't stay very well, but on very short notice she got me in to fix it for FREE right before Christmas no less! Super happy I went to her! If only she was a little closer 🙁 if you're downtown definitely go to Sadie!!

I just used a Groupon to have my hair cut and foiled at Salon Rouge. My stylist was Jean. She was excellent! She understood what I wanted and was able to style my fine hair very well. She explained what type of cut worked best with my hair. Although it was not what I initially wanted, it was what I needed. The coloring was very well done, too. Jean was friendly, polite, and very professional. I now have found a stylist who meets my needs and I will be back!
