Mycelium Salon

Danielle is the best. I’ve been going to her for over 8 years. She originally helped me with a full color correction, and over the years I’ve been light, dark, vibrant, and she is a color master. More recently my daughter was tickled to get some color extensions (see photos)!

This review is long overdue as I absolutely love my experiences with Danielle and Mycelium Salon. Danielle is a gifted and thoughtful stylist who really listens to her clients, offers helpful hair advice and guidance, and creates beautiful haircuts that always leave me feeling refreshed. The salon itself is a delight, too, with lots of lovely natural light and a relaxing, welcoming feel.

Tracy is amazing! I have thin hair and asked for a shag. She knew exactly what to do and she did it right. Best haircut I've had in years!!

I followed my hairdresser Tracy from another salon to Mycelium and I love working with her so much that I wanted to leave a positive review to support her. I have thin, fine hair and like to wear it in a pretty straightforward look, and she totally respects that and cuts my hair in a way that encourages some movement while respecting my wishes. I’ve also been experiencing hair loss and I have never felt judged or spoken down to by her. Her haircuts have been some of my favorite of my life! I really recommend Tracy for people with thin, fine or flat hair.

Danielle is a talented, thoughtful, and creative stylist whose expertise in color is top notch. She is always expanding her knowledge base and techniques to be able to serve each clients individual needs and make their hair dreams real! She has brought her thoughtfulness to Mycelium, a calm creative space that allows stylists and clients the room to bring their beauty -inner and outer, to life. I love this place!!

Melissa is the best. She cut and styled my hair beautifully and understood my needs, and maybe more importantly what I didn’t want for my hair:). I have had some hair loss and regrowth lately that she also understood and cut my hair with that in mind. She is thoughtful and kind. She was also amazing with my young son who had to tag along for my appointment. It’s been challenging finding a stylist here and I look forward to seeing Melissa again.

I've been seeing Danielle for years and she is the best of the best. I have wavy Asian hair and she knows how to work with my texture and wave pattern and color is always beautiful. The Mycelium Salon is gorgeous and always like a little getaway in the Cities.
