Claire did a wonderful job on my daughter’s hair. She was worried about going from very long hair to a shorter style but Claire made her feel comfortable with every step of the cut.

Awesome, independent, hair salon with the coolest vibes. Bright and welcoming atmosphere with a nice street view. My FAV part of the suite was the art wall. Booking was fast, had my consultation on a Friday and my hair appointment the next day. Prices are reasonable and they depend on what you are looking to get done. Claire was my stylist and she was attentive, professional, and very kind. She was also enthusiastic about me becoming a potential client (which was a big plus for me). Overall very happy with my experience and I recommend Defy Hair 100%

I’m a trans girl who hasn’t gone to get a hair cut in a couple years due to my fear and bad past experiences. I wasn’t exactly sure what i wanted going in but Audra was very kind and helped me talk through what i wanted and what might look best on me. Had a great experience, she was really understanding and very social through the whole thing. Got a nice trim, some extra layering done, and bangs! I think it looks amazing and walked out feeling much much more confident in my looks than before. (1st pic is before, 2nd and 3rd after)

I had a great experience here! Hannah was very professional and went above and beyond to help me understand my hair needs. I walked away with some new product and feeling happier/more confident about my hair than I have been in years. The salon is also close to plenty of food/coffee entertainment, if you want to make a day of your blowout. Highly recommend.

Claire did an amazing job helping my kid find a gender affirming haircut that worked well with their face shape and hair type. I have never seen my kid look so confident. It is a true gift to see that and we won't forget that anytime soon. Claire is the best and my kid plans to see keep seeing them for years to come. Defy Hair is always clean and welcoming with excellent staff! It's hard to find a cooler crew of stylists!
