I am so devastated with my hair after booking a haircut at Paris Parker Lakeside. In my first picture I have a picture of my hair a few days prior to the appointment. I decided to book with a stylist I’ve never used because I wanted a simple medium length layer cut (see second photo- this is the exact photo I showed the stylist, though it was the full Pinterest picture with no heart over it). I showed her the picture and she assured me she could do it which I trusted because I specifically picked a stylist with a lot of experience who was more expensive to book with and I figured what I wanted wasn’t too complicated especially since I had so much hair to work with. I posted the end result of my hair cut and I probably don’t need to explain why I’m devastated. Not only will this butchered hair cut take years to grow out, I literally can’t even imagine what it will take to fix it. It is going to have to be so short and nothing like what I hoped for. There is just a blunt cut deep across the front of my hair on both sides that looks literally insane and the bottom is so uneven. I posted wet/ dry/ straight/ curly pics because I think they all highlight different elements of this cut that literally make no sense. I recognize that I obviously don’t have the same hair as the example photo, but I didn’t think a medium length cut with layers would be a challenge for a professional stylist with years of experience. I have also had this exact same hair cut before and loved it so I was just hoping for something a little lighter and more manageable. Now I don’t even know what to do with my hair. I have these crazy chunks that just fall to the front of my face. When I got it cut initially I thought the length was fine and I couldn’t tell how bad it was because the front parts were blown out and swooped back plus I didn’t have time to internalize how off this cut was so I just paid and left. When I went to try and do my hair myself that afternoon I realized it was really off but I figured I just wasn’t used to it yet. It wasn’t until I actually went to fully style my own hair the next day that I realized it was extremely bad but I was also traveling for a work conference which has been so unfortunate as far as timing because I’ve never felt less attractive in my life, so I called the salon once I got settled in and told them what happened and asked how they could fix it. Initially, they told me they could put me back with the stylist who butchered my hair in the first place. I told him that was not an option and that something else had to be done. They told me they would call me back. They didn’t call back so before they closed, I called again. They told me they would have the manager call me on Monday. Monday came and went and I received no phone call. It’s safe to say that fixing this problem is absolutely not a concern of theirs. I’m astounded at this service and the unwillingness to come to a solution after reaching out twice.

Jessica Chauvin has been my stylist for about 6 years now and I highly recommend her. She has helped me create a style that I receive so many compliments on over the years. My hair is not the easiest but she can do wonders. She also helped me find the hair color that suits me best. I look forward to my appointments to feel like a new person. She is skilled and knowledgeable and I trust her completely.

I can't say enough good things about Jessica Chauvin at Paris Parker Lakeside! I've been going to her for years and every single time, she nails it. My hair always looks so natural and healthy, and the color I get lasts! She is so fun to chat with. The whole team at this location is so welcoming and nice and I always look forward to my appointments. 10/10 recommend!

This was my first time coming here. Madeline was so sweet and did such an amazing job on my hair ! The layers she added are great and I love how bouncy and healthy it looks! She did such an amazing job on the blow out and really took her time making sure it looked perfect!

There were three of us getting ready for a big dance. We are typically not makeup and hair girls. The three hairstylists (Macie, Sean, and Madeline) were all amazing. The makeup artist (Jessica) was phenomenal and went beyond our expectations. I even liked my makeup and hair better than my wedding. We couldn't have been any happier. Also, very good pricing. Definitely ask for these guys. You won't be disappointed.

Jessica Chauvin did an amazing job with my haircut today. She went above and beyond and made me feel very comfortable throughout the experience. Having curly hair, it can be difficult to find someone that knows how to cut it just right and she knew exactly what to do! She’ll be my go to for all my future hair cuts.
