My daughter got her hair done on this past Saturday and we absolutely love it. It was her first time getting a silk press. Dawn was her stylist and she was very pleasant. It's hard to find good stylist now in days to care for your hair. We will be back soon. I purchased all of your products to help promote her hair and mines. I haven't relaxed my hair in 8 months and don't plan on doing so. Now that i have your products I am encouraged to grow natural. The Best in my opinion thus far!!!!! Thank you.

I was looking for a hair salon and stylist who could help me take care of my care as I transition from relaxed to natural. Dawn is great! She’s very thoughtful about protecting my hair and keeping it healthy. Her silk presses last me 2 weeks even with all my gym time. And her sew ins keep my edges healthy and give me time off from daily touch ups with the flat iron. And Dawn is always so kind and willing to try and accommodate changes if possible.

The staff is courtesy and the salon is clean. Hairstylist Dawn is very professional and accommodating. Appointment availability is always weeks ahead because she takes pride in her work and makes sure she has time to properly attend to clients hair as needed. Therefore she doesn't overbook and have you waiting for hours. Should issues arise either with her schedule or yours she is willing to work with you to reschedule accordingly. All info is listed on her website so there are no surprises.

I booked a steam treatment which the price was $50. I call the salon to ask Did the steam treatment service include to make use the price was in my budget, because i did not want to be surprised with a big bill . She told me the steam treatment is a wash to clean the scalp and the steam treatment and a basic style... so I booked the treatment. Guess what after that steam treatment the stylist changed my card $85. So I asked the stylist why it's $85 and the steam treatment I booked was $50 . She told me she changed $35 for the 5 twist she put in my head. YES YOU HEAR MY RIGHT 5 TWIST... now I called first to make sure that my service i booked was in my budget of the $50 service I booked...the next thing was, I have 4c-5c nappy natural hair.. this stylist used a rat tale comb on my nappy 4c-5c hair . I was so mad . She pulled out so much of my hair with that little comb...everyone know to use a wide tooth comb on 4c-5c natural hair especially a hairstylist. All I was saying to myself was after this natural hair journey that took me years to get this far. I will have to cut my hair off again because all the damage and hair she pull out with the rat tale comb ....will I recommend this shop for a natural hair person. NO. Did I feel lied to About the price of my service and over charged .YES... On top of that. This is a salon the have they very own product line. On YouTube I seen them using the products on all there client's to see that they are good and how well the products work. That's not happened. So I was under the impression that she would use the product on the client's hair so we can see how it works and want to buy the products... I had to buy a $32 bottle of the oil for her to use on my head...I would like to add a picture but I don't see a button to add a picture on this review..

After searching for stylist that's passionate about their craft. I've found Dawn Marshall at Vip. My Mom and I really love her. She has a beautiful spirit and her attention to detail is the best. The compliments after a visit with Dawn is amazing, she truly get the job done. I've recommended so many family members and friends to her. Yes, she good!! So, Every two weeks my mom has an appointment and every three weeks for me. Honey! Ms.Dawn has two clients until she decides to retire or relocate. Ms. Dawn Thank you so much for everything, you have put the life back into our hair. You're truly a talented stylist.🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

FIVE STARS!!!!!!! I come from hammond, which is about an hour away, just to get a silk press from Red! It’s definitely worth the drive!! I get a ton of compliments!! My hair has gotten so much stronger and longer because of her, and the best part is that my curls always come back! NO HEAT DAMAGE WHATSOEVER!! She really cares for my hair. She’s always in good spirits, informative, and kind! I highly recommend my girl Red at VIP Hair Salon! (:

I had wonderful salon experience! Very neat and attractive setting! The staff was friendly and courteous. I was impressed by the signature hair care products used in the salon that worked wonders in my hair. My hair has never looked so healthy being natural until I got a Silk Press and trim there.
