Carmen And Santos Salon

So it was my first time getting a Brazilian wax there katherine is the one who took care of me for my service. She was amazing quick fast. Very pleasant experience definitely my new go to spot for waxing

Rude and insulting, I assume the receptionist? They have a sign outside that says walk-in haircuts welcome, it is a neon sign and was lit when I walked in. All I said was who's ready to have to have some fun!? could I get a haircut.? And this, sour, dull cabbage, person. behind the podium, said. NO! I was taken aback, replied you're no fun. HE. know her? I said know who? Then you can go ahead and leave! I left actually feeling crushed, and quite perturbed. I was just wanting to treat myself to a professional trim. Instead of cutting it myself like I always do. Hey dude you were rude to me and it hurt my feelings. Thanks a lot It was a great way to experience my third hair salon in a half hour and not get a haircut! In hindsight I misconstrued the person and the chair, other customer, for the hairstylist. But what I said was voiced to everyone. My employee would have been corrected.

Like me first start by saying when I saw a sign that said $35 Brazilian wax I was a bit skeptical cause I haven’t seen a price that affordable since before Covid. But when I walked into the salon I was set at eased. The salon is very welcoming and my stylist was Kat. She was already there and ready when I arrived for my appointment. Let me say Kat is AMAZING. Probably the least painful wax job I’ve had. She was friendly and very informative. Definitely found my new wax and lash salon!!!!

Mary cut my hair today at the Metairie location and she did a phenomenal job! She was friendly, professional, and efficient. I brought in a photo to show her of the haircut I wanted and she went above and beyond giving me a haircut even better than the photo I showed her. My hair feels so healthy and shiny and she did a fantastic job blow drying it. I can't stop touching it or taking pictures, I feel beautiful! I will definitely be going back to Mary for my haircuts in the future and would 100% recommend her to anyone looking for a haircut that makes them feel confident and beautiful.

I love the quality of the service here!! First I called to book an appointment and the lady over the phone was very friendly and made me think I am making the right decision to come for the first time here and do my eyelashes extensions. I had Kat taking care of my eyelashes extensions and she did an amazing job!!! She is a wonderful young lady with patience and she knows what customer service is. At Carmen and Santos you will not be charged if you are late at your appointment either. The quality of the eyelashes extensions is very good. It’s been a week since I put them on and I dont think I will need to go back to refill for another 2 weeks. The prices are within the market but the quality of the service is very very good! After the appointment which lasted 2 h( I didn’t even feel these 2 hours as it’s very relaxing and Kat has very much experience and soft hands ) I asked Kat if she didn’t mind to wash my hair and blow dry . She happily accepted and done it even tho it was time for them to close the shop. Overall I love this place and I will come here very often even if it is quite far for me as I am coming from uptown...

I made an appointment online. Shorty after making the appointment the Stylist called back stating the could not provide the services after noon. Why offer appointments at 130 for service that cannot be provided at that time? Further, I had pre-paid for the service in good faith. She tried to offer other times that did not work. I asked for a refund and she said she’d have to call me back but she never did. I called her back but she did not answer. I finally called the salon back and they stated they would credit me…..we’ll see…. Customer service not there!

Receptionist apparently put down the wrong phone number. Claimed they tried to get in touch with me. I got off work at 530am, had a 10am appointment. Got here at 930am, walked in at 945am.... the Receptionist looked confused. Said well, your phone is disconnected and we kept tried to call you. No, you didn't. Obviously you had the wrong number, they did. I don't need to reschedule and I could have stayed sleeping this morning. Don't bother wasting your time. I've been here before and they couldn't find my info in the computer and this is why.
