My name is Tyler. I am currently enrolled in the barbering program at Milan Institute- Merced. My phase 1 instructor, Fabian, was extremely attentive and hands-on which was greatly appreciated. He pushed me to step out of my comfort zone in haircutting module and experiment with styles that were unfamiliar to me. My transition into T-91 and Phase 2 with Ms. Jenn has been an absolute rollercoaster ride and I'm so grateful for her presence in my education and growth. Ms. Jenn pushes me to be amazing and execute to my fullest potential. She makes clear her expectations and holds space for our expectations of her as our instructor. She remains 100% professional through and through with a little added humor and fun in the mix. I couldn't have asked for a more caring group of instructors to help guide my education and push me to be amazing! I highly recommend Milan Institute- Merced for barbering and cosmetology. Came in for a Curl reformation after getting tired with dealing with my hair. Was greeted instantly and helped to my appointment quickly. Franchesca was the student who did my hair and I'm very very happy with how it turned out. The process was fun and everyone was very sociable. My curls are much larger and laid pretty much exactly how I wanted it. I would 1000% recommend her for people who want a great consultation process and an even better execution!

My hair is naturally frizzy 😅 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Micha (Instructor) and Balwinder (Student) did such an AMAZING job! ☺️👏🏼 If you’re coming in for a hairstyle, just make sure to keep your day open for a couple of hours it’s totally worth it. 💇🏻‍♀️✨ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ This school is full of hardworking students who are learning and growing in their craft and it truly shows in their work! ✨ Micha is such a friendly and excellent instructor. She really knows what she’s doing and explains everything so well. Not only did I leave with a beautiful hairstyle, but I also walked away with some new hair tips 🙌🏼 Definitely ask for her on your next visit! Balwinder was so welcoming when I sat in her chair. She took her time to perfect the layers I wanted, even though I was a little nervous, she nailed it quickly and beautifully 🫶🏼👏🏼 thank you! And a huge shoutout to Milan, who always hires skilled, patient instructors that guides and support the students every step of the way. You can really tell the students are being set up for success. One day, many of them will have their own salons and you might be sitting in front of a future business entrepreneur 🩷 10/10 Highly recommend visiting, $22 for a hair deluxe- you can’t bet that! You’ll get amazing service and help support the next generation of stylists! I will be coming back again 🤗

Lizett and Mariah were both absolutely amazing, they didn't hesitate to ask questions when needed. Instructors came over and gladly helped and taught with such care and compassion.. although my service took longer than expected, everyone made sure I was comfortable as well as the stylists. Definitely going to come back!
