Just a Cut

I honestly hesitated to write this review out of embarrassment, but today I was even more embarrassed to see my hair completely butchered. Out of all the places I’ve been to in my life, this is the only one where the "technique" simply doesn’t exist. They left my hair crooked, uneven, and honestly terrible. I understand it’s a budget-friendly place, but "you get what you pay for" definitely applies here. You’re better off investing a little more and going somewhere with real technique and experience. I even regret leaving a tip, but it’s uncomfortable when they’re standing right next to you waiting to see how much you’ll leave. And if I didn’t say anything to the person who attended me in the moment, it’s because I still have a bit of empathy for older adults. I don’t recommend this place, and I won’t be coming back. Now I have to go somewhere else to fix what they did.

I know we are in a border town but who hires employees who cannot speak English. I called on the phone and could not even ask a basic question. I think it’s nice to have culture and beauty in many languages but this is still America and if you can’t hire one English speaking person it’s very insulting to the rest of us who are not bilingual. It’s always amazing because when you visit everyone else’s country they expect you to speak their language, but here I have to press 2 for English if that’s even an option… very sad.

I would give this place zero stores if I want to this place just no. It was like a girl with black hair we had like scoops in the back who cutted my hair I hope this place closes. I asked to just cut the volume a little bit and the front a bit and the sides just a little cut and then she overcut it the sides and the volume which made my head look like an egg she over cutted my hair

Went in for a haircut & was finished in less than 5 minutes. She was aggressively cutting my hair without even looking & only half dampened it so it was super tangled. Was more concerned with the people waiting than the one who was in her chair. Extremely dissatisfied.

I was deployed to this area, and one of the few women I saw from day to day that had short hair, which made me nervous going anywhere for a haircut. Finally my hair had gotten so out of regs that I needed to do something with it. I stopped in here because it was close to my hotel. The woman that saw me spoke broken English and I spoke broken Spanish. I showed her on my phone what was the regulation standards for short hair for women in the Army, and tried to explain to her what I wanted. Then I actually looked at her and realized she was one of the few women I had seen down here sporting a stylish, sporty haircut. I got super excitex and pointed to her haircut, and then to my head. Over the next 40 minutes, she spoke to me in Spanish and, I, her, in English, and yet we understood each other just fine. I left here with one of the best haircuts of my life.

I walked out with a mullet. I wanted added volume by getting layers but instead I ended looking like I had two different layers cut straight through. I have been trying to let my hair grow out and had to cut the only lenght I had left up to my chin. She insited it was becuase I was not styling it right but I beg to differ. Super dissapoitment. Cried for all for a couple of hours.

I went for a haircut. She was done in less than 10 minutes. I asked for layers, she didn’t even part my hair. She just started cutting, my hair wasn’t even wet. My hair looks horrible!! I now have to go to a different place to get my hair fixed.
