I booked my first visit to this salon after reading very positive reviews online. I went in for a haircut and balayage. I showed a picture and brought in physical hair extensions in the red shade I wanted. I was never told my desired color was not possible. The resulting job left my hair looking similarly close as when I walked in (another shade of brown). I immediately stated to the dresser that the result was far from what I had requested. The owner (Karla) made a comment about how at least they’re not having me walk out with horrible hair. That was completely off-putting since I never expect to leave the salon looking horrible nor do I ever spend my money with that outcome as a goal. Karla offered to have me come back in so they could tone it. I would rather take my money to a place that can get close to what I want the first time around, and if not, not being defensive about their own wrong doing. Total service cost before tip was $255, which is a ludicrous amount to charge if you didn’t deliver. No discounts were offered which is very upsetting and tells me this business is lacking integrity. There needs to be transparency - If a hair stylist doesn’t possess the knowledge or skills to achieve clients desired color, that needs to be stated from the start. I would rather know that up front so that other possible arrangements can be made and if that is not possible then I can go elsewhere. Going to this salon was such a waste of time, money and energy. I have included 4 pictures with my review (reference of desired color, the extensions I brought in to salon, my hair before service, my hair a week after service). I believe this will show more truth to anything beyond my words.

I love this cute little place! After a few years of paying way to much on my hair, I decided it was time to find a new salon. Megan made it super easy for me to book exactly what I wanted. They are friendly, timely, and very reasonable as far as cost goes (I used to pay double!). Now I can support local and not stress about the cost. I highly recommend this place and Megan, she did an amazing job getting me to the color I wanted without damaging my hair in the process. Also, they use Aveda products which is a huge plus! I highly recommend!

I've been getting my hair cut and colored by Allie for the last seven and a half years, and she's absolutely the best hair stylist that I have ever worked with. I have lots of very fine hair, which can be rather complicated to cut well. Allie does a phenomenal job with cuts. She also does a balayage service on my hair about twice a year and it always comes out looking fantastic. In addition, her product recommendations are not frequent (which I prefer) but when she does recommend something it always works perfectly for my hair needs. In short, Allie is fantastic at her job, which is only bolstered by the fact that she's an exceptional human being who you should want to have in your life, even for a haircut every couple of months.

Shout out to Allie for being an excellent stylist! I went in for a haircut [first time customer] with a VERY general idea of what I was interested in, and several pictures. I wanted to go shorter, and I wanted to mess with the color (either go blond, or go darker); anything beyond that I was uncertain. Allie helped me brainstorm the cut and color, and gave opinions based on her experience for what would look best, and I went from having long, brown hair to a boyish, blond pixie, that I feel pretty darn sexy in, and have since gotten several compliments on - thank you, Allie!

I was in need of a new stylist after mine moved. I tried Paisly Hair Design because it’s close to my house. I scheduled a brow wax with Janna and she did a great job! I’m picky with my light blonde brows and she delivered! I then went to her for a cut; and once again, she met my expectations! So happy to have found a new stylist!!

Fantastic service and excellent results! Allie is the best! She is upbeat, friendly and super easy to talk to! She cares about her client's wants and continuously checks in with them to make sure she is making their hair dreams come true. Can't say enough good things about this place. I've found my Madison salon!!

I had never been to this salon, I live in the neighborhood so I gave it a try and I’m so happy I did! Megan exceeding my expectations. She did a fantastic job on my cut and color. Definitely found my new salon! I highly recommend Megan if you are booking here!
