Got a haircut with Mike. His work is great and works efficiently. Makes sure customer leaves happy and adjusts anything according to the customers request. Overall amazing.

I had originally gone to Hair Forum in 2016 when Haley still worked there and I was very pleased, but when I went back in September 2017, Haley was gone. Matt BUTCHERED my hair. I had a short cut and wanted to have it kinda redone, but he had no idea what to do. I got my money back and a haircut to "fix" the mistakes, which just ended up making my hair super short, and I still had to make changes at home with my own hair scissors. The pictures I've included are AFTER I fixed some of the mistakes Matt made, and then the shorter cut is what Lindsay (I think?) did, which I absolutely hated and just waited for months for it to grow out. Long story short: if you want anything more than a basic trim for long hair, don't go to them.

I have been going to Dan at Hair Forum for haircuts since I moved home to Madison during the pandemic (in March). I used to have a buzzed head, and over the past seven months Dan has helped me grow out my hair. Turns out I have curly hair and I actually love it! Dan has a natural eye for how your hair would look best, but always explains and asks your opinion before doing anything. Consistently great cuts, friendly staff, and good value. Would recommend to anyone. P.S. Everyone at the salon is very careful to wear masks and sanitize surfaces and tools.

I got my haircut a few weeks ago and couldn't be happier with it! My stylist, Haley, really knew her stuff and made the whole experience great. I went in with only a vague idea of what I wanted, and she was able to offer tons of great advice, suggestions, and explanations of what various styles would look like on me. She also did a fantastic job, and I would definitely recommend her!

I’ve been going here since I was a freshman in college (7 years and counting) and have always gotten great service and haircuts. I see Dean primarily, and he does an excellent job and provides great conversation. They’re taking appropriate cautions now on the COVID-19 side of things, requiring masks and sanitizing surfaces appropriately. I felt safe there getting my hair cut!

Very nice staff and very welcoming/relaxed atmosphere. I had a very good experience and I am definitely coming back. Stevie is very professional and very passionate about her work. And she does a really good job in giving you exactly what you ask for in a hair cut. Had an awesome conversation and left with a smile on the face. Prices are very responsible. Totally recommended!
