Maven Salon

From the beginning of my appointment today I was welcomed with so many smiles and greetings! I went in for a back to school/fall time hair makeover with Miss Laci and she did not disappoint (pictures below)! She was very kind and very attentive, I could tell she really loves what she does and cares about each and every client that sits in her chair! I cannot say a single bad thing about my services today nor the environment I was in! I will definitely be going back to visit Miss Laci at Maven Salon!

I don't know where to start. I came in with a TERRIBLE orange bleach job from another salon. After explaining my situation and what happened I never had to think about my orange hair again, instead Deana took that negativity and turned it into the most positive experience I've ever had. She never told me how horrible it looked or even mentioned a negative word. She stayed focused on telling me how good it was going to look. A few words that describe her are professional, uplifting, and good at her job. I have never met someone who is so perfect for their profession. She gave clear expectations to have for my hair, that it may not be perfect but when she was done it surpassed my expectations she had given. I was given so much respect from all the staff. The man at the front counter is so kind and opens the door for you when you first get there and when you are done. I felt pampered for the few hours I was there, the attention to detail of care for their clients truly shows. no matter who you are I recommend this salon. All walks of life come here and are treated equally. They are also open from afternoon to night which works soooo well with my work schedule.

Faith and Laci were wonderful! 10 out of 10 superb job today! I’ve done a few appointments with Maven and I would say this is my fave experience and hair look so far! Truly the best! Thank you again ladies! It was great talking to you about our favorite shows!

What would I do without Mallory and Lacy 😫 Maven is so beautiful and has a great layout with comfy and bonus amenities (hello neck massage in the calming wash room!). Mallory had vision AND execution, keeping me happy and involved in every step. I wanted to lighten up my natural blonde hair and did in some Barbie highlights… mission accomplished! Mallory shaped me up with a razor cut and face framing while Lacy gave me a beautiful blowout with some soft, beachy curls. I will be a client for as long as I live here! I can’t thank them enough 🩷

****WARNING!!!***** #1 WORST HAIR SALON IN LYNCHBURG I do not recommend anyone to go here. Lacie ruined my hair and it will take months maybe a year to recover. All I asked was for a red wine burgundy color and a haircut. After all the money I paid came out with my hair orange red. Never in my life have I paid so much money and have my hair ruined. She even burnt my forehead with bleach. Lacie was more worried about rushing me out to cut some guy’s hair that she booked while doing my hair and she even made me wait 20 minutes from my appointment time. When I called to tell them about the horrible job she did not once did anyone apologize or offer a solution. I have been so devastated that I have been walking around with a hat. I paid almost $400 to get my hair ruined. They were not professional at all. After this experience I will never let anyone in Lynchburg touch my hair again!! Lacie’s beautician license should be revoked!! I’m lucky I still have my hair.

I recently visited Maven Salon to have my hair done by Mallory, and I couldn't be happier with the results! From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was welcoming. Mallory was incredibly attentive, listened to exactly what I wanted, and made excellent suggestions that perfectly suited my hair type and style. I am blown away by her skill and attention to detail. Her whole team worked together seamlessly to make sure my experience was outstanding. I’ve been going to Mallory for 4 years now! I first started going to her in 2020 when I was desperate for someone to save my hair as it was so damaged and breaking off. It took several appointments, time, and chopping off a lot of my hair during our very first appointment, but 4 years later, my hair is back to being long, healthy, and beautiful! I can’t imagine going to anyone else! Plus I always enjoy our conversations every time I get to sit in her chair!😁 (her assistants are always fabulous as well!)
