I booked Elektra to do my hair and make up for my wedding and the whole experience was PERFECT. She included me every step of the process making sure I loved the finished look, and I did! I could not recommend her more! She is so sweet and so passionate about what she does. As a curly girl there is no one I trust more with my hair than her. Elektra will always have a loyal customer with me!

I am hooked! Elektra is wonderful! She listens, she is informed and I totally trust her with my thick curly hair. I am 63 and I am so happy that I have found a home for my hair. I have never felt so happy about the future of my hair. I have had many people cut my hair in my lifetime and no one has been as knowledgeable as her. She knows curly hair! Do not hesitate to make an appointment for you and your hair.

Since my review got deleted for some reason, I am reposting because it’s important for people to know about businesses before they book them. I booked Elektra to do hair and makeup for my wedding. She rescheduled my trial for makeup twice and we barely fit it in a week before my wedding. The trial went well, except during it a client came in upset because I guess she double booked us. She had to talk with her for a bit and it was awkward, then the client stormed out. On the day of my wedding, Elektra had insisted that her and her assistant could begin later than I had asked because they were fast. They then got about an hour behind schedule, were not checking the time at all, and because I was last as the bride everything was pushed back. My bridesmaid’s eyelashes fell off but since we were behind Elektra asked if she could ‘just fix it herself’ even though she had paid for the service. Then Elektra doubled the amount of eyelash glue that she put on me in my trial and glued my eyes shut. I literally was prying my eyes open and pulling my glue out of my eyelashes while I was supposed to be having my first look. After she had to redo that, we were an hour and a half behind schedule. I was not able to put any of the fun things I had bought into my hair (pearls, clips, etc.) and it didn’t match the vision I had in mind. We had to completely move our pictures with the bridal party and I didn’t have time for bridal portraits. I paid and tipped her before she started. When I got back from my first look, she was gone. No apology, no text, no offer of a refund of even my tip. Elektra was kind, but I would not recommend her for events.

Can I give a gazillion stars? Elektra is the best hairstyist I have EVER been to. I live in Georgia, but whenever I need a cut, I make to trip up just for her. She spends so much time, care, and attention to getting my hair done exactly how I want it. I have loved every haircut I have ever received from her, and I have loved every haircut second spent with her. Not only that, but the haircut supports my hair growth and looks great at all stages of gowth. She is so kind and caring. A master at her craft and an amazing person. Kind to everyone and so incredibly caring. I don’t trust anyone else with my hair, and I don’t need to either! Her work has made my life so much sweeter. Ugh, just love her and so thankful for her!!!

She’s not just a curly hair expert; she’s a true listener and coach. She took the time to understand my curl struggles, explained every step of the process, and showed me how to care for and style my curls confidently. What really stood out was her kindness — she literally held my hand through the tears (yes, curly girls know the struggle!) and even checked in with me a few days later to see how I was doing. When I texted with questions, she responded thoughtfully and helped me troubleshoot. If you’ve ever felt lost or frustrated with your curls, trust me — Elektra will make you fall in love with them again. I can’t recommend her enough! 💛

A friend recommended Elektra to me and I am glad I chose her to do my curly haircut! She took the time to listen to what I wanted, gave recommendations, and the end result was something I was so happy with! Definitely recommend and will be back for my next haircut!!

I cannot say enough good things about Elektra. She has an incredible eye for hair with the knowledge and skill to back it up. I've never had someone look at my hair and immediately come up with a plan that made sense for my hair type/structure but was also flattering. She's quick with a listening ear and great at breaking down info. Her curly hair skill is on point but I would recommend her to anyone with hair, no matter the type.
