Luv this studio! I was treated like a queen n enjoyed every minute of it. Mateo, my stylist is truly a professional. My hair is dark and I have a bit of grey coming in and I explained to Mateo I wanted a natural looking color and he nailed it. My dark brown does not look black n that’s what I was going for. I have long hair n I was a bit nervous because he seemed to be cutting quite a bit, he gave me so many layers n I kept my length. I highly recommend Virgo it’s aesthetically pleasing n has such a kool vibe. They also sell organic products which of course is needed for my color treated hair. Everyone was so welcoming! Thank you Virgo and of course Mateo. I was a bit chatty, but Mateo went with it 🙂…

This salon is amazing! I got my haircut with curly specialist Ashley who gave me the curly cut of my dreams. They laid out clear instructions about how to arrive with my hair prepped and Ashley consulted with me in depth before cutting. She was committed to doing good work and making my vision come to life. She was kind and funny, very personable and professional. The salon itself is beautiful with very relaxing atmosphere. I am so pleased with my Jellyfish Cut and I will be back for maintenance!

The main problem with this salon is that it’s probably 2x the price of other organic salons in LA, which are already 2x the cost of organic salons in most other major cities outside of NY. I liked the downstairs area a lot, & the outside is very cozy as well. My poor stylist was very chatty & I am an introvert so I probably wasn’t pulling my weight but I got a great color & would go back if I could swing it lol

I got a shoulder length perm in August. I was told how to style it and that if I had any questions to text or call them….. not only was the perm over $550, not what I was quoted nor what their site says, but my bar has been damaged since. It’s wildly dry no matter how many of their recommended products I used and I had tried texting and calling them for help or ideas, but no one ever got back to me. I don’t know what type of customer service they think they can provide, but it’s the worst money I’ve ever spent and I’ll never return.

A spiritual journey of hair alchemy and nurturing relaxation. I had my hair cut by Alanna who is an experienced, easy-going, beautiful grounding soul that made me feel at home. Mateo washed and textured my hair to prep it for air dry. I have to tell you I have never experienced someone touching, washing and intuitively knowing what my hair needed like Mateo did. It was really beautiful to experience The Virgo hair salon. I I feel like I found the perfect salon for me. I highly recommend this gem, as it is a rare and luminous one.

I recently visited Virgo Hair Salon, located in the Art District of downtown Los Angeles, and it was an incredible experience! The salon has a welcoming and warm atmosphere that instantly makes you feel relaxed. The customer service was exceptional from the moment I walked in. I had a headache when I arrived, but left feeling rejuvenated and looking amazing! Matteo provided a thorough consultation before tinting my hair, and the entire experience was fantastic. Matteo and the rest of the staff are extremely knowledgeable and skilled. My hair now looks and feels absolutely incredible. I highly recommend Virgo Hair Salon to anyone seeking exceptional service and outstanding results!
