This past time I went to Julie, she did not listen to what I wanted at all. I decided to chop my long hair off. I told her I wanted a blunt cut and long layers only in the front. She proceeded to cut layers all around my hair. While she was cutting my hair she said, "wow so many beautiful layers." Which I immediately responded with, "Julie, I said no layers." There were multiple interactions like this throughout the hair cut. At the end, I asked her to fix my bangs, but she didn’t saying they were even. I left with extremely layered hair and uneven bangs. Not only is it not what I asked for, but it is simply a bad haircut. I always appreciate stylist input, but at the end of the day, what I want should always come first. Now I will have to wait months for it to grow out before I can go to someone who will give me the haircut I asked for.

I was in LA for a concert about 2 weeks ago and had time to kill. Was feeling spontaneous and decided to get a haircut with the couple hours I had. I started googling places and all the reviews for this salon were great. I was skeptical at first from the picture of the outside but I called and Julie was able to get me in super fast. She could also quote me over the phone what her starting prices were (which I thought was too good to be true) something that a lot of salons don’t like to disclose until you’re in their chair. It was a relaxing atmosphere. The service came with shampoo and conditioner and the full haircut. Julie was so genuine and you could tell she truly loves her job. She keeps her prices affordable for the average person as myself which I appreciated so much. Please support small businesses like this salon as Julie is the owner and only stylist, it’s hard to keep busy when there’s so many other salons in LA. In the end, I came out loving my haircut and know if I’m in LA and in need of a random haircut again, I will definitely be going back.

I have been going to her since 2019 and she is the sweetest, most talented hairdresser I have ever had. She has taught me how to take care of my hair over the years and always treats me like family. She constantly has customers driving an hour away just to see her. I highly recommend her!
