The Level Salon

This place is honestly so adorable and the small staff are so sweet. I love them and they are so accommodating and the facials are amazing. It is almost like the mom and pop shop of hair salons. I definitely reccomend this place for anyone who needs to relax or even just have a good time.

The Level Salon in downtown Lee’s Summit is my ‘happy place.’ Owner Amanda is a sweetheart, and makes everyone feel welcome. Jenn is my stylist, and I am so thankful to gave found her. Her haircuts are individualized to each client, and always grow out so nicely. Dena, receptionist, welcomes guests with genuine warmth & enthusiasm. I got an awesome hair cut- exactly what I asked for & on short notice too! I have to add that these girls are the sweetest bunch you’ll ever meet! They truly make you feel like you’re just hanging out with your girlfriends. Looking forward to scheduling with Katelyn again soon!

I recently visited this salon and unfortunately, it was a very disappointing experience. I went in for Full highlights and left feeling incredibly unhappy with the result. Not only was the style far from what I requested, but the staff was also incredibly rude and dismissive when I expressed my concerns.I tried to communicate what I wanted, but the stylist seemed uninterested in listening and rushed through the process. When I pointed out that my hair was not what I had asked for, they were defensive and unprofessional, making me feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. I had to go to another salon to fix it. I’ve never had such a poor experience at a salon, and I will not be returning.

Words can't express how much I love the new salon! I love the owner and the rest of the staff. These girls are AMAZING and so very TALENTED!! Amanda has been doing my hair for years. I am beyond pleased when I leave her chair, she listens to what I say I want done, and then does it better!! So check them out! The Level salon is so beautiful and relaxing, your missing out!

My daughters and I had a lovely girl-only afternoon at the Level Salon yesterday getting our hair cut and eye brows done. This is a recently opened salon in a completely renovated small home near downtown Lee's Summit. The interior is beautiful, welcoming and clean. They stylists we saw, Jenn and Hilary, did a beautiful job for all of us. Amanda the owner is very welcoming and lovely!

Amanda and the whole team are professional, kind and knowledgeable. I love the space that is simultaneously inviting and classy. Amanda takes time to get to know her clients, listens and adapts to provide custom service and she always makes sure her clients are happy with the results. I think the one-star reviewer must want to keep bookings down so they can keep appointment times to themselves. Services are affordable for the quality and attention to detail offered by this fantastic team!
