I just finished an appointment with Lindsey and had such an amazing experience, I felt like I could cry from the excitement of the final results. I also have had work done by Laurel and it was a very similar experience! I do very vivid, bright, and unnatural colors and they have both hit the nail on the head. All the stylist I have met that were with other clients were also so kind and inviting both times i've been, and I so far have also felt very welcome by other clients. I've been several places for hair but this is absolutely the best for good pricing and a good experience. It's a very inviting space and I want to say thank you to both Lindsey and Laurel!

I have had the absolute worst experience at this salon. I just moved to Lakeland and was looking for a new Salon and based off of reviews I booked here. The week before my appointment my stylist texted me and asked about my hair and what I was looking for. I sent her my inspo pic. During the appointment she said we’d need to bleach my hair to get the color I wanted and that it was going to cost extra, which I told her was fine. She went to the back and when she returned she claimed she wouldn’t need to bleach my hair and that she had found the perfect color. I wanted a copper red and left with dark brown. I’ve reached out to the salon and they only wanted to offer a color correction- which I refused as this was my first impression of this salon and I do not trust them to fix it. They’ve been ignoring me ever since. Highly disappointed and would not recommend. I’ve attached the inspo pic I sent and a picture of how I left the salon.

Kara: Really Good Listening, Styling, & Cutting Skills... Salty Suite: Much Appreciated off-street parking and comfortable atmosphere. The first time I went to Kara to create a specific style, I was really impressed with how well she listened to my lay person's description of the look I wanted. Her first attempt was good, and close, but not perfect. When I returned for a second try, she got it just right. "Proof in the Pudding"...When I washed & did my hair on my own, every hair fell just where Kara planned for it to land. A+ Kara, Thanks!

I first went to Kara last July 4th. I was a walk-in and she graciously offered to stay and cut my hair for me. I had asked the last person who cut my hair to layer it, but she said my hair wasn't thick enough. Kara listened to what I wanted, and delivered 110%! I decided to book an appointment for my daughter who is very picky about her hair, and she loves how Kara cut hers. We are always treated like family and our hair looks beautiful when we leave. I cannot recommend her enough!

UPDATE: Their response was a LIE. They offered to fix my hair free of charge and have been ghosting me for THREE WEEKS. Now they won’t even take my phone calls. This is so unprofessional and wrong. Imagine sending your daughter to do her hair and they OVERCHARGE her and FRY HER HAIR OFF! All I wanted was my hair to be fixed. This is so wrong. I was hesitant to leave a review, however I feel it is necessary and important for other people who are considering getting their hair done. The place was cute and the environment was nice, but my hair hasn’t felt this awful before. I’ve been dying my hair my whole life, and I went in with hair that had been dyed 6 months prior, but I left with dry and damaged hair. I asked for calico and I feel like I got 90% bleached chunks. The back of my hair is almost solid blonde/red and when it gets wet it feels tangled and tough, my hair never felt that way before. It took almost 3 hours to just bleach my hair, with half of head sitting with bleach for that entire time. Not only that, they used 9 bowls of bleach on me (I do not have THAT much hair), which made my total $535, without a tip, when I was quoted $330. On top of that, she did not charge me $75 for my haircut because she "messed up the blow dry," but I do think she messed up the cut. It was just as long as when I had gone in, barely any layers, and really short bangs. I just think that I was taken advantage of and my hair should not have required that much bleach. Not only that, when I brush my hair, pieces of my hair break off. This has never happened to me, and I’ve been dying my hair my whole life!! Also, some of my hair has spots! If I paid that much money for my hair, it should not have spots. I’m just really upset about the condition of my hair and how much I paid to have my hair messed up. My hair feels like straw now. Pauline is absolutely amazing at doing hair. She helped me get my curls back into the best shape and teach me how to take care of them! I have extremely long curly hair and I love my hair now. Won’t go anywhere else!!! Lindsey the owner is amazing too!!! This salon knows what they are doing. Jessica is amazing as well she is the salon manager and she will help you and put you with the right stylist, very friendly and professional.
