I never thought I’d say this, but I genuinely love my curls now—and it’s all thanks to Amy at Kattwalk Salon! For most of my life, I struggled with accepting my natural hair. I come from a place where curly hair is misunderstood and seen as "unmanageable," so I was pushed toward straightening and keratin treatments that ended up damaging my curl pattern. Walking into the salon, I was honestly skeptical about getting a DevaCut—it was my first time even attempting to embrace my natural texture. But Amy changed everything. Amy did an incredible job with my curly haircut! She’s such a kind and sweet person. It took me 2 years of bad "Diva" hair cuts, before I met Amy at Kattwalk Salon. In addition to a great cut that fit the shape of my face, Amy helped me choose a hair color and highlights that complimented my skin tones. I have been going to her for a little over a year now, and she consistently delivers a great cut, color, and highlights. As a bonus, Amy is very personable and makes the whole experience feel special and fun. I feel like I am visiting with a friend.

I made an appointment with Amy after reading a lot of reviews about her doing an awesome job on cutting curly hair. I showed her a picture of what I wanted and she helped me with the difference and benefits of a regular hair cut vs a diva cut where each curl is cut to provide a lot more volume and dimension. I really appreciate her taking her time to do the diva cut instead of the regular hair cut appointment I requested online as it takes more time and attention. I attached the before and after pictures and love it! She also made me feel so comfortable and welcome I will definitely be back.

Amy is my go-to stylist and takes the time to make sure we both have the same expectations based both on my preferences and customization based on my hair.
