Stephanie Renee's Salon

This is just a more so appreciation review, I saw a lovely older lady with beautiful short blonde hair outside cleaning the alley in front store area. I haven't been back to Kalamazoo since I was a little kid and I am in my thirties now. My service dog and I were just walking through and saw a lovely lady cleaning taking care of the street and the storefront and I have to say I highly recommend this place just on morals alone, if I had enough hair I would personally go there myself LOL

I braided my hair back in November 2025. On November 6th to be exact and today Dec. 12th 2025 I’m still holding my braids on. Ms. Rennes wasn’t who made my hair, it was a young lady. She is a gentle hair stylist person. She did an amazing job. I think is kind of expensive, but after all this time that I had keeping my braids I think it’s worthy.

Such a great experience! Stephanie styled mine and my little ones hair for a wedding. She is so nice, a great conversationalist, and has built a great environment in her salon. She was great with the little one, took her time and was so sweet. Fatima was thoughtful and took great pictures for us ♥️ Definitely recommend Stephaine Renees for any hair needs, thank you so much

Miss Regina who did box braids on my babygirls hair did an amazing job! This was my daughter's first time having her hair professionally braided and I was not disappointed! Will be back soon! And much love to Miss Stephanie Renee who was a gracious host of sorts and chatted with me while I waited for the duration of the braiding! And Rhianna did an amazing job on my daughter's hair. Everyone in the shop is amazing 🤩 love you ladies 6.8.24 My daughter has been coming to miss Stephanie Renee's for a little over 3 years now and still to this day. I am never disappointed with any of the services customer service or overall experience and vibe of the shop. I always have a good time and find myself in good company. Rihanna did an awesome job on my daughter's starter locs. I am glad to make stephanie rene's a part of my daughter's transition from her natural hair to her journey of her starter locs. And to Miss Stephanie Renee, Thank you for having a warm and inviting place where the ladies and the men can get and keep their crowns straight 👑 👑 💇 💇

I had the honor of having Stephanie herself do my hair. When I got there I was nervous I've let myself go being a new mother my hair was in need of serious intervention my depression has me in a chokehold. It was super dry and damaged and she revived my hair. Not only did she do a wonderful job bring my hair to life she lifted my spirit. This salon is wonderful only thing that's better than my hair is the company I got from the staff they were all such beautiful souls. If you are in need of hair intervention this is the place to go. I cried real tears once I saw my hair. I can't thank Ms.Stephanie enough!!! I'll post the pictures because words aren't enough see for yourself the magic she can work

I should have done this so much sooner! What an amazing place and great customer service! I got seneglesse twist (I'm pretty sure I messed up that word)... Anywho, the person that did my hair is such a wonderful person but I don't want to mess up the spelling of her name but it starts with a P and she's awesome. She was very diligent while putting the twist in and the style holds for so long and is easy to take down. The atmosphere is pretty neat everybody's really friendly. Coming from a different part of Michigan I always went to one person, particularly to do my hair and now that I live about an hour and 15 minutes away, I don't always feel like taking that trip anymore. I did not know who would be able to take care of my hair until I went to Stephanie Renee's. I'm glad I found it and I am sure to return.🙂
