I have just returned from a month long trip. Before I left Derek colored/cut my hair. This was the very first time I had been to Ponce Salon. I have been driving to Knoxville and decided to try and find someone here that could please me!! Did I ever find that "person"! Derek and I hit it off the minute I sat down in his chair. He just gets me like he had been doing doing my hair for years!!! He is someone I wished had been doing my hair all along!! If you are in need of a new stylist or just want a change, go see Derek!! He will make you feel like a queen!! I fell in LOVE!!! Thank you, Derek for my beautiful crown!!! 💞

Derek really took his time to discuss the plan for my highlights and haircut, especially since it was my first time at the salon. He had great ideas and listened closely to what I was hoping for. I’m so happy with the results! My hair had no color on it beforehand, and after the service, it was silky, soft, and shiny. (See the before and after!) I couldn’t be more pleased. Thank you Derek!

Derek is my salon superhero!! Finding someone willing to give you the time and patience needed to truly listen to what it is you are hoping to achieve with your hair, is honestly hard to come by. Derek did just that and then some. Within minutes of initially meeting him for a consultation, I knew I had found my person!!!! Despite having just met him, his personality and demeanor had me laughing like I was reconnecting with an old childhood friend. Derek is top notch and absolutely knows what it takes to have his clients walk out the door feeling like they are on top of the world. Should you find yourself "settling" with your style/stylist, I urge you to set your fears of finding somewhere new to go to the side. For some time now, I have felt like my hair was "dull" and lacking any wow factor! Sit in Derek’s chair and I promise you will walk out with a brand new pep in your step 😉😍 5 stars does not do justice. I give Derek at Ponce Studios 10+ a galaxy of stars!

The salon space is so chic and gorgeous! Jayme was wonderful! 10/10! He is extremely knowledgeable and shared so many useful tips and tricks. I left with a beautiful hair cut and great information to keep my hair healthy and stylish. Thank you!

I’ve been going to Ponce for almost 2 years now & I highly recommend their services. Brittany does a cut and color for me every other month, and I am always so happy with the results. Brittany and staff are energetic & fun as well incredibly skilled professionals. I get compliments regularly on the color of my high & low lights. The front desk staff are so helpful with scheduling & sending reminders. Love this salon.

Carlos is an absolute gem!! I started seeing him after another stylist almost ruined my hair. As busy as he is, he worked me in the very next day, on a Saturday. i was so grateful and have now been with him for almost 2 years. I appreciate that he always get me in and out fast, but does fantastic work. Every time i leave his chair, I feel like the best version of myself. He listens to my ideas about my hair but always offers thoughtful and honest advice that ensures my hair not only looks amazing but stays healthy, too. His expertise, attention to detail, and genuine care for his clients, really sets him apart. I am not sure if he is taking new clients, but if you are lucky enough to get in with Carlos, you will see what i mean. I could not ask for a more superb experience. Carlos is simply the best!! So glad i found him!!!
