I love this barber shop, I’ve been coming here already for 10 years to get my son a haircut and so far it been the best barber shop i ever took my son to. Jose gives really good haircuts and the wait time is never to much. If you want to get the best haircut with a good wait time i recommend this barber shop and the barber Jose.

Had to go to NJ for this, but I’ve finally got haircut. The Republic Hair Studio is officially open and back in business. Since NYC can’t seem to give specifics on their phase 2 reopening and seeing on the news that NJ barbershops are slated to open Monday, June 22, I decided to see if NJ has a Dominican barbershop and I found this place. The phone number is not working but they are on Instagram (@TheRepublicHairStudio). Since I’ve haven’t had a haircut in 4 months and I could not wait any longer, I took a risk in going there hoping they will be open Monday as their Instagram page stated. And not only were they opened, but a barber was immediately available. Waldo did a fantastic job. It’s wonderful that haircuts are not just limited to elected officials anymore (and this sarcastic remark is not just directed to the mayor of Chicago either), but seriously, if NYC barbershops still aren’t fully open when its time for me to get a haircut, I will return to NJ to get my haircut at The Republic Hair Studio.

Great customer service, and Jose is really good at cutting hair!

Been going to Jose since I was 9, im 24 now. My older brother originally was his go-to-barber since 2010 when he was still in highschool, and he brought me along with him to get my first cut from Jose and he's been a great barber for me ever since! Highly recommend and very friendly as always!

Professional, clean, comfortable environment.. And they really know how to cut hair.

Very disappointed with the service. I waited for almost an hour and no one acknowledged me or gave any update. Extremely unprofessional and poor customer service. Definitely won’t be returning.
