This was my first time ever getting a halo balayage and all I can say is that I am so happy as to how it turned out! Leya explained exactly what I should expect from a halo balayage and it turned out even better than I had ever imagined! I will definitely be going back! Thank you Jenny O Salon!!! Also, would love to know the hairspray used, it was so light and felt AMAZING!

Words can't describe the amazing talent and treatment I received yesterday at Jenny O' Hair Salon. Every single person was friendly and attentive. My hairstylist Karen was outstanding and amazing, she understood exactly what I wanted. She literally gave me a new identity! I came in with the intension of getting very light purple/pinkish balayage and to fix my layers. But the outcome was ten times better than expected. I went with a blonde balayage, and she fixed my layers. I'm in L O V E with my new hair! I can't wait to go back. I highly recommend getting your hair done by Karen, you won't regret it! Side note, my hair was black and thick with no color, it was natural (virgin hair) I've always wanted to try blonde balayage but was afraid how my hair would process. My hair lifted beautifully which is why I wanted to keep it blonde.

Came in for a trim and walked out feeling beautiful and confident. I’ve struggled for many years finding a stylist who can work with curly hair. My stylist was Leya and she honestly knocked it out the park. Not only is she extremely knowledgeable but also professional. She gave me the perfect cut that not only looks great post blow out, but also complimented my curls. Thank you much for my amazing cut. I’ll definitely be coming back. (Highly recommend!)

I had an amazing experience at Jenny O salon! Serena gave me the best hair wash ever, complete with a complimentary scalp and shoulder massage that was so relaxing I nearly fell asleep. Laya expertly corrected my hair color and styled it beautifully. Highly recommend this place for top-notch service and a fantastic pampering session.

I tried this place for the first time, I usually go to studio 17 and ended up here because they goofed up my appointment. Karen was nice, she understood my hair which btw was in a bad shape to say the least and she fixed me up pretty good!!! Also, the hair massage in the beginning is amaaaaze.

Jenny is absolutely amazing. Apart from the obvious skill of her art she is such a wonderful human and so down to earth. I just moved to New Jersey and everything was so new but Jenny made me feel right at home. I’ve always wanted long hair and Jenny helped me it make it possible. I got beaded extensions. She so effortlessly added all the strands of hair and we had such great conversations, I couldn’t even tell where the time went. I haven’t explored much in NJ yet, but I’m glad I found my salon. I've been going here for several years. Both Jenny and Leah are wonderful. They do a superb job cutting, coloring, and styling a variety of hair types and textures. I have long, curly, colored hair and trust them both to do an excellent job either styling my natural hair or blowing it out. I've also seen them both style hair for weddings and special occasions and it always turns out beautifully. The salon is clean, professional and well run. They are very attentive, affordable and located on a great block in Downtown Jersey City. Highly recommend!
