I dont usually leave reviews but I've been to J & Y three times now and with each visit my mind is blown by how amazing Yohanny is at her craft. My hair comes out flawless everytime.The blowouts are the most beautiful. She recommended Ana for my nails.As a Jamaican who is used to getting my nails done to perfection not only did Ana meet but she also exceeded my expectations. I have not been this satisfied with my nails since I've been in NJ. The customer service from both top tier. Music is alway great. Love it!!!! Book your appointments now!! Hands down the best Dominican hair salon in NJ. Prior to coming here I had the same hairstylist for 20 years. After moving to Jersey city I had to find a new stylist and I’m soo happy I found Yohanny. I’ve been coming to see her for a few years now and my hair always comes out shiny and silky straight. It never smells burnt and my scalp actually feels clean after every wash. Yohanny is honest and caring and I trust her 100% with my hair. She’s the best and you absolutely need to come see her! Parking is free and convenient.

I have been going to Yohanny's salon since I moved to NJ over a year ago and she has been my go-to ever since. I do not let anyone else do my hair. Yohanny really cares about her clients and their hair care. She treats my hair with care, telling me if a product is not good for my hair and providing recommendations and treatments that may be better. This has helped my hair become more healthy and I appreciate her honestly. You can tell it is not about the money but about great hair care. Her hair assistant Natalie is also very gentle when washing and rolling your hair and if you give her directions on anything, she follows through. I always bring my own products and tell her which order to use them. She is also very sweet and kind. Yohanny has a very cute salon and nail area and the studios offer free parking as well. I recommend her and her services, so give her a try! You will not be disappointed.

This is by far the best hair salon I go to for a wash and set! Yohanny my stylist is so knowledgeable about hair and hair care. I always leave with a positive experience and I love my hair. I get a thorough wash and She always makes sure to give me a trim and treatment when needed. You will not be disappointed when you get your hair done here. They also do manicures and pedicures as well!! Don’t hesitate to book you a self care day!

I found this salon a couple of months ago and I’ve been coming back ever since, my hair has been thriving! Yohanny is amazing, super efficient, and always leaves my hair looking and feeling healthy. Nathali is also great and really takes her time giving your scalp the attention it needs. They use quality products, work with all hair types, and the salon is clean, welcoming, and easy to get to with parking. Both women are also kind and friendly. So glad I found this salon, I highly recommend coming here!

Been coming to Yohanny for about a year now since moving to Jersey, she’s the absolute best! I have 4a natural hair and will not trust anyone else to do it!! Of course curls won’t be as in tact with constant straightening but it’s always minimal & she gets my hair so straight & healthy. Natural girlies you won’t regret it.
