Richard's Hair World

My husband and I have been going to Richard's for several years! We love the service we receive and Richard is a very talented stylist! I have had different lengths of hair and Richard always makes me look amazing! I highly recommend this salon! Will keep going back!

I came in just to even out my hair because I messed up the cut after I left my supplies at home and had to make do with scissors. Like a lot of people I came in with my own ideas of how I wanted my hair to be cut so I internally protested. I stand corrected because Richard gave me the haircut I knew I could have but was afraid to do myself. And he introduced me to this terrific hair product that holds the style indefinitely until you wash it out. Crazy how I was just having lunch and decided to go here because it was nearby.

I made an appointment, but something didn't sit right with me, the way he talked seemed he was in a rush or annoyed. I called back to cancel, and was really polite about it, but he just hung up the phone. Kind of glad I didn't come here to be honest, I feel like he wouldn't really listen to what you want done to your hair, or wouldn't care that much lol.

I had a fantastic experience at Richard Hair World! The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming from the moment I walked in. Richard is not only a skilled professional but also a great listener. He took the time to understand exactly what I wanted and gave me valuable suggestions. My haircut and styling turned out even better than I had hoped for. The salon was clean, and the atmosphere was relaxing. I'll definitely be returning and highly recommend Richard Hair World to anyone looking for a top-notch hair salon.

I've been wanting to write this review for quite some time and have finally made time to do so:) I and my now 20 yrs old Autistic son have been getting their services since 2005. ( more than 18 yrs by now). My hairdresser is Nancy, and she has an amazing hair cutting skill. Once I have a haircut from her, it usually lasts more than 3-4 months with minimal styling from me. And my son's hairdresser is Richard, and he is not just a great hairdresser but also very sweet person. He is the only hairdresser my autistic son trusts! I strongly recommend Richard Hair World to anyone, both women and men, looking for a new hair salon to try in Irvine.

I’m the type of person who does not particularly enjoys getting haircuts. However, I really enjoy getting cuts at Richard’s. The last few times I’ve been to Richard’s I’ve had great experiences. I do show up prepared with photo examples of what I wanted done and ready to communicate what I wanted, so maybe that’s why I’ve had better experiences? Anyways, the service, cuts, and conversation have been nothing but positive experiences for me. Also - the location is convenient being near the 5 and located in a plaza with lots of shopping and restaurants.

It's difficult to find a place to get a good haircut these days, but if price is reasonable, location is good, wonderful owners, no waiting time, then it's almost perfect. I've been going to Richard's Hair World since 2018 and fully satisfied. It would be best if you call in advance and make an appointment.
