I went to this hair salon after many friends had recommended Miho, the hair stylist, to me. I haven't hair a hair cut since Jan 2021. I told Miho my lifestyle and asked for her suggestion. She recommended the hair cut style and color for me. When doing my hair, she was very detail and didn't rush through the process. First she did the color. Then she washed off the color. Immediately after that she shampooed and conditioned my hair. Then only she cut my hair. I am very happy with the result. Thank you Miho.

Went in for a men's hair cut. I've got many disconnected undercut with light fade. They did an amazing job, it isn't anything extraordinary but the way, slight shape and intention that went in made it look good on me. It's reasonable price with any other high quality hair salon. Highly recommend it.

I've been here multiple times. The quality is great and comparable to salons in Japan. The price is reasonable and worth it. The stylists (I've tried 3) all know how to cut Asian hair well. The shampoo feels good too. Plus they have given me advice on how to take care of my hair. Also, I like that the stylists don't force small talk so I can relax in peace! The salon itself is spacious and stylish. I like that it's not cramped or loud. Lastly, I like the convenient online booking system. However, usually you have to book weeks in advance.

I am from Japan and have been many Japanese hair salons around OC. This place is exceptionally high quality and well trained stuffs. They also have online appointment system which makes very convenient to make your appointment. Although their prices are not necessarily cheap, it’s all worth it at the end. Please be careful with other Japanese hair salons where they claim that they only use top Japanese salon quality products and they are all well trained in Japan, especially for Japanese hair straightening. I know it’s not true for some JP salons but you can definitely trust this Salon.

Everyone here is very polite! The girl that cut my hair was open to all my preferences for style and made sure that I was comfortable the whole time. The best part is the mini head massage! She did such a great job and I will be back for my next cut!

I have been coming to this Pia location since it opened in 2019. Takashi is the only one I trust with Japanese hair straightening. Regardless of where I live in the world (I work overseas), I always make it a point to visit Takashi at least once a year for cut, color, and straightening. Their prices are very reasonable, and the quality of their service and product is unparalleled. I highly recommend them!
