I’m still in shock. To start… the stylist and staff were friendly and welcoming so I debated this review, but I just want to cry when I look in the mirror it was done so poorly . I specifically asked for a rich chocolate brown and mentioned multiple times that I didn’t want any red in my hair. Instead, I ended up with this unfortunate shade of uneven pinkpurple/red…and an uneven cut as well. I don’t think I’ve ever written a negative review before, but this experience definitely warrants one. I noticed Oribe products being used in the salon; I used to have my hair done by the one and only Oribe in Miami, and I can only imagine he is rolling in his grave at this cut and color done at a salon that carries his products. During my appointment, I asked the stylist if I was getting brown dye , since red splattered on my hand, and she replied something along the lines of, "Don’t worry, it won’t be hot pink." I was (and still am) at a loss for words after my appointment. I paid and tipped well($400+), and while I don’t want a refund, I want to move on from this experience. Which is why I also don’t want the complementary correction done by the same stylist. Additionally, the policy that requires clients to get corrections only from the same stylist who made errors in the first place , especially on this level, is crazy to me. I even debated paying someone else at the salon to fix things but the fact that I would have to pay for everything all over again and reading similar reviews in yelp has just left me far too weary to ever go back . Just yikes .

Do Not Recommend for styling service! I visited the salon today for a blowout and iron work appointment with Elba at 1:30pm. She began around 1:40pm, and I was finished by 2:40pm. Unfortunately, my curls began to fall out within an hour and my event has not even started! I honestly could have done a better job with a cheap hot roller at home. Given that I spent $150 for this service, I am extremely disappointed with the quality and durability of the work. This is not the level of professionalism or result I expected. I would like to request a full refund for today’s service.

I paid $2,700 for these extensions & install I was told they would last AT LEAST a year, but could last to 2 years with proper care. I spent an additional $150 on their specialized hair care products and extension brush, only to have them looking like this 5 months later. I would not spend your money here!

I love this place! Violet looks after my hair and she is awesome. Friendly, lovely and she knows her stuff. Plus she listens to you and then advises. It's a team effort! Great collaboration. The front team are so nice and polite and I love the tea! Great experience. Would thoroughly recommend. The salon is fabulous! Best in Orange County❤️

Violet is the best best hairstylist ever. Love, love, love Violet. So grateful to have found her!!! She's so creative, she took my edgy ideas of what I wanted and customized them for me to have something tailored to me that was even better than what I asked for. Not to mention, my head is covered in massive scars from surgery and that didn't get on her way at all. Now I look like I didn't have surgery and like I'm 10 years younger. True artist!

Makaila was soooo amazing! 🥹 She really understood what I was looking for when I had a hard time explaining my desired hair color. My hair looked so ridiculously sexy and gorgeous afterwards. Makaila’s service was just excellent all around; and top it off, she has a wonderful and down-to-earth personality!!! This was my first time to House of Lange, but it will not be my last!

First, let me say that I have been to many salons, however, few were as welcoming as yours. I felt like I belonged, and everybody greeted me with an authentic smile. Now onto my hair… Fabulous, fantastic, elegant, five star. Shanni is that magical combination of artist and scientist. I can’t wait to come back and see what she creates with me next. Nancy
