They gave me highlights that turned into a coopery/yellow color 3 days later. The stylist was incredibly messy and disinterested, my highlights looked choppy and some are suddenly brighter than the rest. The back was absolutely butchered, it looks like someone smeared mustard all over my hair. Obviously, the stylist thought I wouldn’t notice the back. Sami is the only decent stylist there, stay away from that place. Don’t waste your money.
I paid $370 for a dark purple hair color and left with dark green that quickly faded into a brassy, uneven brown. The stylist dyed my hair twice, and the first attempt left my roots yellow and my ends black — a major mistake I noticed immediately. Instead of addressing it on the spot, she insisted on drying it first, only to later admit it was her fault and re-dyed the roots. This not only damaged my hair and irritated my scalp, but also left me extremely uncomfortable during the process. She assured me the color wouldn’t fade to brown or turn brassy, but that’s exactly what happened within days. This experience was unprofessional, careless, and disappointing. For the price I paid, I expected a skilled, attentive service — not damaged hair
This place has steadily increased their prices over the years. Posted sign states Men’s cut price to be $45, $50, $55. Took my son who has short hair but long bangs, a little beyond his nose and was told by stylist that it’s $55 since he had long hair, which is the highest price for men. I felt like they are now taking advantage of people and a $55 cut for a teenager with short hair (most would consider normal length, not long) seemed like gouging. Personally, think $55 is too much and there are plenty that cut men’s hair well at the $45 range.
I had Yuri. She's listens to what you want and tells you what she thinks to make it look even better. She pays attention to detail and does a cut that is easy to maintain.
This truly is a unique salon! Hair dryers hanging from the celing. There is rotating staff to help the stylists and staff is constantly cleaning. Staff is friendly and accommodating. I came here after looking at a lot of photos of their hair color they've done on people. This salon seems to be the best one in the area. I had picked three stylists based on the photos I've seen on yelp. Sunnie was available to take a same day appointment. She and her staff did a fantabulous job. I showed her a photo of what I wanted and it came out strawberry pink blonde hair. It was a little dark and it's washing off nicely. I love my hair color, I get compliments everywhere I go. I'll totally come back.
Don’t make an appointment after 5pm. They close at 6pm. To go home early, they’ll do their best to brush you off with minimum work, and still charge you full price. My hair doesn’t look different after a "haircut".
This is the second time I went there, the two stylists are terrible. One is called Leo, he is a guy who can speak Mandarin, he cuts so bad and I don’t even know why he is able to work there. He really should train his skills and be humble, it looks like he doesn’t even know how to use the tools. The woman who washed my hair, kept asking me if I want styling. I said "No styling" but she pretended she doesn’t know what I was talking about. And she was like "ok styling—Curly or Straight" no professional at all!!!!! I recommend Sammy, but don’t go Leo and the woman who speaks Spanish. Terrible skills and service. Leo even gave his name card but seriously he doesn’t deserve one.
