raye is so talented! never had anything less than an amazing haircut and overall experience from her. definitely would recommend!!

It might be worth it just for the head massage, but when you have a gold medal-worthy stylist like Raye who sends your head home looking AND feeling great, you really can't go wrong.

Raye is amazing! She gives great haircuts, which is difficult to do on curly/wavy hair. I appreciate her attention to detail, engagement, and patience.

My daughter (who is on the spectrum) recently broke her leg. She spent a week in the hospital where they did not brush her hair. I called GK’s, where we’ve gone numerous times before, informed them of the situation, including her diagnosis, and they agreed to take her on and detangle her hair. Not thirty minutes into it, after threatening to shave her head numerous times because "that’s what they do to matted cats and dogs," and having three people work on her hair which overstimulated her even more, they decided they couldn’t brush out her hair because she was having a meltdown. Not a spectrum-friendly salon!

This is my go-to place! I could not be happier. I have been told I have a very difficult hair color to match (strawberry blonde). I got my very first balayage here and was very happy with it (first pic). I wanted to go back to my strawberry color, however-- I felt like it would make my hair look healthier and less dry, especially with winter coming. Today, Tarra (and one other stylist whose name I can't remember right now-- I'm sorry), really worked their magic! I included pics of my ends and of the full cut and color. The pics are in different lightings (dim versus bright), and I feel like they really capture how beautiful the color turned out, regardless of context. Thank you, Groovy Katz!

The atmosphere and staff at Groovy Katz were welcoming and friendly. I went in not knowing entirely what to do with my hair, and Kaitlyn was able to guide me while letting me make the decision. When I expressed difficulties in knowing what to do with my hair, she made suggestions and even gave me a chance to see what my hair might look like with a body perm. I left feeling very confident with my haircut and an appointment for a body perm. I'll definitely continue going to Groovy Katz!
