Hanna Kim (해나 김)

After 3 years in Houston I think I’ve FINALLY found my go-to asian hair salon. Having been disappointed by a handful of the more popular ones in Katy, Bellaire and Spring Branch, I decided to try this random hole-on-the-wall shop in the heart of Korean neighborhood and I’m so glad I did. - The owner is very nice and no frills, not trying to sell anything. The shop is small and clean. - She was so gentle with my hair which I really appreciated - my hair is thin and fragile yet many other places still use super hot tools when styling it. - Pricing was not cheap but more affordable than the popular spots I’ve been to that charge $60+ for a haircut. - Love the shampoo and treatment that she used. She’s not a seller but was happy to share with me 2 bottles at wholesale price. - I just needed a simple trim and my hair turned out exactly how I wanted it. She didn’t style it much so the in-store look was basically the same after first wash at home.

I asked for a short haircut just like the first two pictures I posted since that’s how I style my hair. You can clearly see those haircuts have at least 2-3 inches bellow jaw. however I got a short crooked bob above my jawline with choppy layers and half my hair the bottom part is one inch and less long. It’s so hard to style this choppy crooked haircut. This will take me at least 6 months long for it to grow out and able to get an even haircut since I hardly have any hair left at the bottom of my head. Sadly I go to vacation in Hawaii next month and I have to go looking like this.

Hanna is an eyebrow professional! I was hesitant about getting my eyebrows tattooed but I absolutely love my eyebrows and I have no regrets!

Hair stylist lady is extremely kind and nice, visited multiple times and she always kept us entertaining. So far she has done all the request that we have requested(In hair styling)
