Dana Hair Salon

This place is really outdated—which I normally wouldn’t mind—but at least keep the waiting area clean and presentable. The woman working there was unprofessional, had no manners, and gave me a terrible haircut. My style is simple, but she still messed it up, especially the neck line in the back, which was done so poorly I had to go elsewhere to fix it. The worst part was when I came back to ask for a refund or at least a partial one. The man there was willing to help, but she was loud, rude, and refused to let him. Very disrespectful. I don’t recommend this place. The price is too much considering how dirty the place is and how poor the service was.

I have come here 3 times now. For context, I’m a broke PhD student so my options are very limited. The first time for just a trim, which Linda did a phenomenal job on. I have very thick straight hair and her work was really impressive, especially given the price point. Yesterday, I came in for an undercut and Dana cut my hair. She buzzed it very unevenly but I only noticed when I got home. I came back later that day and asked for Linda to fix my hair. I was super anxious and upset because I was very concerned that they would have to take out too much of my hair, but it ended up working out really well. They gave me a full refund and were very kind to me and considerate of my feelings. I cant speak to Dana’s abilities on cutting long hair, but all I know is that Linda is exceptional both long and short. I will be back- for Linda. I appreciate the consideration and care from the whole team very much 🙂

I'm only giving one star because I have to. I called ahead they said open till 6pm. I show up at 5:20pm and asked if they had time for a quick trim. I don't have gobs of hair nor thick hair. They said yes. Since they both were finishing up with a client, I stepped outside to smoke. I finished, two men walked in just before I re-entered and one of the stylists tells me, they didn't realize the time they couldn't cut my hair..... yet they take the 2 NEW customers in to cut their hair. And I say NEW because you could tell they've never been there before. Needless to say, never going back. Probably a blessing, they joint was really run down looking and had a weird odor inside. 😑

David, my barber at Dana's Hair Salon, gave me a haircut today!! He did an excellent job! There are new procedures in place now. Customers and barbers/stylists must wear masks at all times. Their new hours are from 10 to 6 you should call 1st to see if your regular stylist is working that day. I really like my fresh new haircut and I was very grateful to see them back in business again and using all necessary safety protocols. Price has gone up a dollar. Still a great haircut at a very inexpensive price, nice salon, nice people, ample parking, quick in and out.

I have gotten a cut from Dana Hair Salon on a couple of occasions and have left satisfied both times. I usually get a simple cut (2 on the side, scissors on top) and it is done professionally, efficiently, and is a great value overall. Highly recommend.

I really liked this place. I visited it today for a simple trim and the lady did a great job on my hair for a great price. Hair length determines the price. My trim was $12, but she helped style it a bit and did a nice clean clear job. I'm very happy with the service and will be going here from now on.

I have been using Dana Hair Salon for a few years now. A family business, they are experienced and talented, offering full service. A large waiting area, they sell a variety of products and are family friendly.
