DO NOT LET TRACY TOUCH YOUR HAIR! SHE IS NOT A COLOR SPECIALIST! I would give a ZERO rating if it was an option. My daughter and I have been loyal clients of this salon for almost 3 years. During those 3 years we were a part of and overheard multiple conversations with Tracy AND Katie about what a great "color specialist" Tracy was. So when my daughter had a stage show coming up and couldn't wait until Katie was back from early maternity leave, it seemed like a no-brainer for her to schedule with Tracy. She told Tracy what she wanted, and Tracy assured her she could do it. Unfortunately, Tracy was NOT a "color specialist" and colored my daughter's hair black and then tried to "fix it" by BLEACHING it, causing severe chemical damage. The result was extensive breakage and compromised hair integrity that began an expensive 6-month journey (almost $600 to date) to try and repair. What made this even more upsetting was Tracy wasn't up front about what was happening. Instead, she was taking pictures of my daughter's hair and going to the back of the salon to send them to Katie to see what to do. But my daughter was already upset and was texting me telling me she had ORANGE streaks in her hair. She even had my daughter PAY for this damage. I called Katie and told her what happened and that's when she told me about Tracy sending her pictures, etc. on the day the damage was done. She couldn't believe Tracy had charged my daughter for the visit and immediately refunded her money. She told us we had every right to be upset and that she would try her best to fix it when she got back in the salon, but that it would be a process. She later told me that Tracy realized she was "in over her head" and didn't know what to do, as if that mattered. As a result, my daughter had to do every sold out show with her hair in this condition. So the process began to try and get my daughter's hair back to it's normal "Pre-Tracy" condition. As of last week when we went for our regular appointment with Katie, my daughter's hair came out a bluish gray. I asked her if my daughter's hair would ever be back to normal and she could not say for certain. Then she tried to downplay the damage as if we couldn't see it for ourselves. My daughter became very upset because on one side of her hair it feels like straw and looks damaged....not to mention the bluish gray color. And this is after 3 or 4 visits (which my daughter paid for) to try and fix the damage that Tracy caused. Katie made it very clear she had done all she could to try and fix my daughter's hair. She became very heated and unprofessional, raising her voice to us and saying that if we weren't satisfied with the process we could part ways. NEVER ONCE did we say ANYTHING NEGATIVE about ANYTHING Katie had done to try and fix my daughter's hair, so this caught us completely off guard! Needless to say we left there very upset and have vowed to NEVER return to this salon. To this day Tracy has NEVER had the decency to apologize to my daughter for what happened, and even hid in the back of the salon when we had appointments. So now we are left to try and find a REAL color specialist to try and repair my daughter's hair. I am leaving this review as a warning to unsuspecting trusting people looking for someone to do their hair. Do NOT trust Tracy with any color services. Please see pictures. Thank you. *** ADDENDUM***** This is in response to Katie’s added reply about her small business. Katie, I understand your concern, but we could not allow you to completely change the narrative of what happened during the course of this very serious issue by attempting to downplay it, or unbelievably trying to place blame on my daughter! I guess you didn’t think she saved your texts. Truth always prevails. Do better.

Love this salon! Bella does a great job with my hair. She takes the time to find out exactly what you want and goes above and beyond to give it to you. She is very sweet and knowledgeable. The girls in this salon are very kind and they all get along great. That makes a difference when you have to go to a salon and your hair done. It's like a party every time. This salon is a hidden gem. Their prices are great and their work is fantastic. Give them a try!!

Love this place. Bella and Katie have both done my hair and they listen to what I wanted and gave me exactly what I wanted. I am always happy with my color and cut. Tracie did my waxing and she did a great job. It’s a fun salon and you can tell all the girls get along and enjoy what they do.

I am the daughter referenced in the prior review. I initially chose to handle this privately with Katie and did not intend to respond publicly. However, the salon’s reply contains several inaccuracies that need correcting. I did not request a new service or a change to my established color. I asked for a touch-up. Tracey stated she had access to Katie’s detailed notes. When my hair appeared much darker than usual, I pointed it out. Tracey asked if I wanted it lightened, confirmed it was possible, and proceeded to bleach my hair. At no point was it presented as uncertain or outside her scope. It was framed as a simple correction. I did not ask Tracey to stay late, cancel appointments, or alter her schedule, nor was I informed that she had done so. I personally canceled a rehearsal to accommodate the length of the appointment. Katie’s offer to correct my hair occurred after Katie contacted me to say the photos looked bad and she was coming in to fix it. While I was aware she had recently had a baby, the implication that I pulled her from the hospital is inaccurate. Based on what was communicated and shown to me at the time, her child was already home (see text). I do not raise this to minimize the seriousness of her situation, but to clarify the public narrative does not reflect what occurred. I was initially charged by Tracey. During Katie’s call offering to fix my hair, she stated she had instructed Tracey to refund me. At that visit, Katie repeatedly stated my hair looked bad, the color did not reach the roots, and she did not understand why certain choices were made, despite referencing her own notes. I was not charged for that visit but was told fixing my hair would be a process. The private conversations about Tracey’s decisions differed significantly from the public defense now presented. I returned two additional times for continued corrections and was charged over $200 each visit, despite being told during the services that the results "weren’t going to be what you want." I do not expect free services, but this situation did not stem from a request I made. Paying over $500, plus purchasing products to address damage, has been frustrating and disappointing especially since the issues is still unresolved. The damage and dryness are isolated to the bleached areas. I have worn my hair up my entire life without issue. The timing and location of the damage make it difficult to accept that it is unrelated to multiple bleaching sessions. Since July, I have purchased products to address dryness and hair loss while being told my hair was unchanged, which did not align with what I could clearly see and feel. At the most recent appointment, brief joking occurred about a small purple area while my hair was wet. As it dried, it became clear the issue was widespread. I was NOT joking about my hair appearing silver overall. While I do not believe this was intentional, it was a legitimate concern. We were not asked to leave the salon. I chose to leave because I was uncomfortable with how the situation unfolded in front of other clients. When I expressed embarrassment, I was told, "I’m sorry you feel that way." Katie later apologized via text for the escalation while also justifying her reaction. At that point, I stated it was best to part ways. Even if my mom’s behavior had been wildly inappropriate, which it was not, there were multiple opportunities to de-escalate rather than intensify the situation. Despite the unresolved state of my hair and the amount paid, it was the handling of this interaction, the lack of accountability, and the subsequent public response that ultimately confirmed my decision. I have no ill will toward Tracey, Katie, or the salon. I did not want to make a public statement, but I could not allow a misleading narrative to stand uncorrected.

I just moved here a month ago and I really needed to find a new hair stylist! I searched Google and chose Loose Ends based on the great Google reviews and beautiful hair pictures on Instagram. I am soooo happy I found this place. Katie did my hair. She did hi lights, lowlights, and a cut. It looks SO GOOD. I think this is the best my hair has ever looked. I highly recommend!!!

I have to get my hair cut every month, so finding a great salon and stylist was important to me. I've been going for a year now and Katie has been nothing short of amazing. She is a great listener, but also provides such valuable input when asked. She has helped me change up my style and I have never been happier with my hair. I've even convinced my husband to go and now he won't go anywhere else. Pricing is more than reasonable and everyone is so friendly. An absolutely wonderful business!
